Okay, my family and I have been going nuts trying to plan a 2008 trip to the World. We have jumped from month-to-month trying to find the perfect combination of good weather and low crowds. Even though people voted early December in previous poles that I created, we just can't wait that long
So it looks like January is the month for us since my wife wants cool weather.
We've decided on the dates ranging from Fri. Jan. 18 - Sun. Jan. 27 being that these dates don't include the Marathon, Cheerleading competitions, etc. The only thing is, MLK Holiday falls on Mon. Jan. 21. I've heard from numerous planning guides that MLK Weekend doesn't have any impact on Crowd levels.
So my questions are:
1) For those who have been at the World over MLK Weekend, is it noticeabley busier??? What are the parks like??? Any parks to avoid during this weekend?
2) In your opinion, did I pick a good time to go for cool weather and Low Crowds?
3) Is there another week in January/Early February that you think would be even better?
Thanks in Advance.
