Just joining in on this thread. We are looking for a code, ap or florida resident rate for our dates in Jan.

I just got back 3 weeks ago from our "free dining" trip. I promised my family I wouldn't even think about another trip until next Fall. Ok, so I think I did good by holding off for 3 weeks!!! lol.

Anyway, my kids also have the first week of Jan off. I've narrowed it down to either DL or a WDW/Universal trip. We haven't been to DL in about 4 years, and we've never been to Universal. I just need to figure out a way to pay for it all...lol.

Here's hoping we get some good codes.

BTW, we got the FW cabin for $144 a night with a general public code back in Jan 2005. That rate seems so cheap now, doesn't it?? lol.

You DID do good! I didnt last that long!!!

I free-dining checked out October 3rd, got back October 4th and had talked my fiance into letting me suprise my 11 y/o with a quickie trip in January by October 5th - and BOOKED IT!

YAY! See you there *hopefully* with codes!

I see that they released a offer for the canadians. The same offer as last year with the buy your tickets, get a free waterpark and park hopper option on your tickets. Does anyone think that is an indication of what to come for us Americans too when they release codes? Just wondering...

If so, I think we will skip disney this time. I already have tickets and was really hoping for a room only discount.

Unfortunately, I think the Canadian code is a good indication of what we are going to get, especially considering its what they released last year for Jan/Feb. But maybe there will be a good room-only code released, because we have tickets already, too.

Yes. But last year when they had the same offer for Jan/Feb '06, there was a discount on the room portion as well. When you added in the "free" hopper/water park option, most people ended up a little better off than booking a AAA package. I think we got about 20% off rack rate for WL.

Thought I'd join in. I don't know about anyone else, but I liked best rate program because I didn't have to get up at 7am every morning for a month and a half to see if AP rates were out yet. I new my rate looong before this. By the way, is anyone else booked for 1/17-1/23?

Is it just me or is this like the Heinz Ketchup Commercial??????
It the whole "Waiting" thing that gets to me. Do I book, don't I book. Do I book now or hold off? Or do I just wait to hear what the codes are and then book?
It's that whole daily checking the "Dis" first thing in the morning wishing for a code. It makes you wake up early like Christmas Morning except you not opening presents your opening a website and checking for code information. I think i'm loosing it . Is there a DCA program I can join? (Disney Codes Annonymous)sp?. There is just one thing that keeps me out of the nut farm......knowing that I am NOT alone.

I really miss the days of $109/night for a standard at WL during this time. I doubt we'll ever see those days again. But, hopefully, in the next two weeks or so we'll see something.
