I sent it out the newest "final" version yesterday to you via email.

It's all good on the other front. I have a feeling that the person that was sending emails and PMs wasn't even on our cruise. They never spoke in the forums and their account on the DIS boards has since been deleted. It was likely a lurker or just a general trouble maker. Hakuna Matata!

All the people here have been awesome and very understanding! At least SO FAR!

Glad to hear all is well Laurie. You did a great job and I understand the position you are in, having been the leader of several FE's myself, there is a definite need to have a cutoff date. You have gone above and beyond by adding the late comers to the end of the list in case those who have extra want to include them. Looking forward to a great cruise!

Planning to work on packaging up my FE gifts this weekend. Couple questions-- did we figure out how we are going to be able to deliver to 'sailingsoon' since they don't have a stateroom assignment yet? And Laurie you are in concierge, right? Are there gates blocking access to the Concierge rooms like there are on the Dream? I seem to remember I think they decided not to put the gates on the Fantasy, but if you can let me know for sure that would be great, because I know that has been an issue for some on Dream cruises delivering to those in concierge rooms, they had to leave their gifts at guest services since they couldnt get beyond the gates.

2) I will keep a list posted in the top pocket of our FE at room 12000.

3) tinkybell14 in cabin 6514 has volunteered (and hopefully remember saying she would??? hehe) post a list as well at her door.



As for concierge access. I was under the impression that the Fantasy had them as well.... so there are a few options:
1) Sometimes the gates are left open and you get lucky and can just walk through (act calm and normal... no one will arrest you!! and you can totally act like tom cruise sneaking down the hallway all mission impossible style!)

2) flag down a stateroom hostess and ask them to let you deliver it or help

3) knock on the door of the concierge lounge and they will help you out with access or delivering.

4) drop the item off at guest services on deck 4 and they will deliver the item




Does that answer the questions? YIPPIE if it does.... BOO if not!

I will check my messages right before the life boat drill (apx 4pm). That gives me time to make necessary changes and deliver new lists out to everyone if need be! I come baring whiteout and pens!

Yep, I remember. I will put a copy in the top pocket of my FE. I have my own version of it though. I am a little OCD, so I had to organize it so that I could check off each person as I completed their gift. It is still listed from top deck down to lowest deck though, so anyone should be able to use it if needed. I will also probably grab one from Jeisur and put it in my FE as well since my room is very easy to get to...yeah, I'm a little jealous of that concierge room! Lol. No worries, I'm sure we'll all help each other out if needed.

Plus, I really want to get my kids together with some of the other kids their age. Last cruise we were with family friends, so they were all set, but this time they are going to need to find someone to hang out with!

My DH & I will be on this cruise after spending a week at WDW. Celebrating our 65th birthdays last fall and our 15th anniversary, coming up Jan 31.

We spent a few days at Disneyland for our honeymoon combined with business trip.

Hey everyone! I just put a one day hold on this until I can reach my TA and have my dummy moved over! We were going to go on the Wonder in Miami in February but I messed up my calendar and almost missed my daughter's school musical performance!

So we have decided to make the leap to the Fantasy. We were on the Fantasy in May and LOVED it.

One of the things our Dis group did in May was to book a private mixology - we had a BLAST. They told us they actually changed the way they do mixology because of our group (in a good way) and did not even charge us! We had 50 in the mixology group.

Is anyone interested in a private mixology? you first watch a presentation, then you take turns behind the bar making the drinks, while you are drinking the drinks others make. I think it was supposed to be a $20 pp charge.

If so, I can make the arrangements.

I don't think we will be doing the FE this time around, as it will be just my husband and I. We are leaving our dd behind to go to school. We are celebrating my birthday and our 20th wedding anniversary.

Hey everyone, I am bumping this post so you all can read it. AbsyBabsy is trying to organzie a private mixology group for our DIS gang. So far there are 20 people interested, maybe 22. She needs 25 commitments to book. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post quickly if you are interested so she can get the ball rolling on this. It really sounds like a neat idea and way to meet some of the other DIS gang!

Okay, I have this crazy idea for a meet up? When you first board the ship and eat and before you go to your room the cruise staff runs a 1pm "ships tour". Would anyone like to meet up for the ships tour? We learn something new and do the tour every cruise. We are already planning on attending with out group of 7. I know it is pretty soon after we board the ship but after you eat there is nothing better than exploring the ship!

Sounds like fun to me. I don't think our boarding time is until 1230. We plan to be at the terminal around 11, so hopefully we will get to board right away. We are only silver CC at this point though, so we'll see.
