Timberlake has 5 nominations, so I think it would be tough to ban him.

Janet was supposed to introduce a tribute to Luther Vandross, and I heard that the reason she was un-invited is that Luther will not be able to make it to the ceremonies, and thus, her services were no longer needed.

Where did you hear this?? I didn't think that Luther was supposed to attend from the beginning(he's too sick). All the networks are carrying the "she was banned" announcement.

You know, I have never really liked much of anything that comes out of Spike Lee's mouth - due to an unfortunate visit he made to my university years back where he made some very, very prejudicial comments and was subsequently banned from ever returning - but I have to give him credit for what he says in this article. Who knows where the money train is going to take us and how far into the depths of demoralization of the viewers will we have to go to get some of these borderline artists some attention.
