Jan 8th Christmas Decorations and another question?

I saw that Christmas decorations are through January 8th. Does that mean they will be up all that day, inlcuding christmas overlays on rides, christmas food, lighting ceremonies, etc? Do they get taken down after the park closes, and the next morning everything is different? Trying to decide if I should go on the 8th to get a chance to see the decorations or not? Also on the 10th it says DL closes at 9, but DCA at 10pm, anyone know why, and if it will affect crowds that day? Thanks!

Decorations may start going down before the event ends but most of them will still be up for a small amount of time after the event ends.

In theory, they should still have the Christmas overlays and lighting ceremonies but if anything breaks down, there's a chance they just won't repair it. That's what happened to Mater's Jingle Jamboree this year. Christmas food may sell out but I would still opt to go on the 8th if it's just adjusting your trip by one day because there will still be a good amount of Christmas stuff.
