Good one brumbie...its bec when I run my cursor over the image it reads ..image.... I then can turn on my magnification and look at it with the remaning sight I have....how much is that you ask....about 20 percent....I hqve no central vision. And what I do have pereferaly is foggy but it isn't hard to see the mickey outline and black....ask me if there is detail on that mickey bar and forget I could not see it.....I can't see text unless it is about 2. Inches tall and right under my nose so I have a screen reader and a scanner and a bunch of other cool gadgets ....like now I am on my cel and it talks to me telling me what letters I type so I know...then it reads back my post to me....

We are not really doing christmas this year so I'm going extra craaaazzzzzzyyyyyyy not sleeping lol.....

Denver is all set to cruise ...we r on our way home from the guide dog school where he went to see their vet......

Got an e mail out to see if there are any other dogs crusing this time....last time there was a service dog for an autistic boy onboard...and the cruise before that we had another guide dog onboard and that gal and I still keep in touch....kinda nice


Got some great literature today from guide dogs and some fun things for the kids fe. From denver of course lol its q and a stuff for kids and some q and a stuff for kids and adults about guide dogs.....

I'm trying to control my urges to play on the DIS website all day...but ...so ....difficult! I'm a teacher (yes, I'm on a lunch break! ) and for the first time in my teaching career, I am teaching the week before Cmas. I'm totally thrown off!! Of course because of this, I am able to GO on this cruise and not take time off! I just have to make it through 2 more days after this and then it's ALLLLL about the cruise and soo nthe kids will know too!1 I can't wait to see their reactions! By the time they know, it will only be 2 weeks til we cruise.
I am totally done with kiddos' FE gifts and almost done with the adult gifts.

My girls really want to go to a pirate party since we have been getting pirate stuff together. They don't have any idea what a cruise is...this morning I asked DD5 if she wanted to go on a cruise sometime and she said NO. Hahaha. She has figured out my mom is going on a trip and she really wants to go and thinks my mom should take her too. My girls are used to my parents taking trips. Mom and I are laughing our heads off over this. The plan is tell them the day of the trip but it is so hard not to tell them

So how does it know what it the image is...does brumbie give it a name? We could have all sorts of fun with that

it just says IMAGE but LOL ....but but but ,.... Chances are if Im reading Brumbies post and there is an IMAGE well ... I can ALMOST guess its a Mickey bar !

Denver split a toe nail today might have to have it pulled tomorrow - Which means surgery and time off for a week or so before he can bear weight on it - HEY at least it happened today vs right before we leave still a bummer though -

I had no idea the weather would be that warm...sounds wonderful!! I am seriously wondering if I have to pack anything but princess dresses and a pirate costume for my girls. I have seen people wearing matching shirts which are super cute but I don't know that we will have time to pull it off.

Carrey YUP ! I sailed Jan 22 last year and it was PERFECT ,... as Jim Carey would say it was B E A utiful !!!!!!

Im not going to jinx it but it should be great weather never herd anyting about wind in Jan - All I know is we wore sandals and capris the entire cruise except for at night

Did you go in the water? I am wondering if it will be cold as we have signed up for an excursion that includes snorkling. I am wondering if I should buy half wetsuits but hate to spend a bunch of money on something we may not need and the girls will quickly outgrow.

suzanne - we went zip lining and you get drenched in one part YEA IT WAS FREEZING but felt good since we had been working up a sweat - I would call the cruise line or company and see if they provide wet suits - I bet they do !

I had a dream lastnight we all got to the port super early and they would not let us board bec the ship was late coming back oh the dreams I dream ....
Almost Christmas which means we r almost 2 weeks away ! Im going to the Rose Parade on the 2nd ( yea lame it is on the 2nd this year ) and after that I will be on FULL CRUISE MODE -

Denver still has to put together his FE things he wants to send out seperate from mine but I guess with a hurt paw I will have to help him

going to Disneyland Friday before my passes are blocked out for 2 weeks ... PEPPERMINT ICE CREAM HERE I COME !

I hope Denver is better soon. Have fun in Disneyland. We have not been since May as we did not renew our passes. My DH Josh and I would go every day if we could but the kids were wanting to do other things . Anyway enjoy and have some peppermint ice cream for us.
