We are taking a quick trip and will be there Jan 6-8. Our oldest has never been to DL only WDW. He is visiting from the midwest on college break. The rest of us have been to both. What will the crowds be like those days? I am assuming they will be pretty light given the holidays are over and kids will be back in school. Am I right or am I doing what they say you do when you assume something?

I think you'll have very light crowds! It's midweek, and school is back in session. You may find some attractions closed, however, for holiday take-downs and general maintenance. Enjoy the quiet!!!
