Before I talk about our day at Nassau, I just want to mention that we had adjoining secret porthole rooms 5022 and 5024. Loved the portholes--better view in 5022. They slept 4 comfortably and we put all our children in one room. Two split bathrooms were wonderful. Ana was our stateroom host and she was very nice. My only complaint is that she turned our beds down for the evening during the early dinner seating (we had late) and so when we went back to change for dinner, our rooms were all ready for bed. The first evening, I had laid out all our clothes for dinner on the bed and when we got back from the show, she had put them all in the closet! It took me a little while to find them. The last night, she was still in the room when we came back to change. She was making the towel animals. She showed my kids how to make them and even gave them a paper with directions. They enjoyed that. I guess I could have mentioned something to her, but I figured she had her schedule to keep.
I did check my kids into the clubs, but they participated very little. Two made the flubber. My youngest also did the soap cars and race and got a pin. My older ones played basketball with the kids. I wish my kids had participated a little more because it looked like the ones who did had fun and became friends.
I got my oldest unlimited internet for about $40 and it was worth it. I got my other children arcade cards. My DD never used hers.
We did the breakfast and lunch buffets everyday.
Did a few laps around Deck 4.
Got off the ship briefly at Nassau. Bombarded by taxi drivers and hair braiders and horse and buggy drivers. Just kept saying no thanks and walked on. Found the Del Sol store by accident and three of my kids got color changing tee's. Went to Hard Rock Cafe to buy a shirt for a friend. Went to two other shops and then back to the ship.

Caught a little of the Mouseketeer show and enjoyed that. They don't let anyone leave with less than $80 of shipboard credit! One boy was two away from the cruise!

Dinner at Tritons was superb! Prakash always gave us the best suggestions for ordering.

Lots of character greetings in front of Tritons right before the late seating, so we didn't get our picture taken until our main course was served. I guess I should have stood in line to have our picture taken with a character, but we didn't arrive early enough to think of that. My kids being older, we didn't do the character pictures. Although I wanted to! Saw Daisy and Donald! Lots of princesses. No Pooh characters which disappointed my daughter since her favorite is Eyeore.

Sail away party late tonight. Very hopping! Characters and dancing. Great music all day everywhere. The Promenade Lounge had great music too, which we enjoyed different times during the cruise (no smoking there).
Loved the merchandise on the ship in the stores.
We always crashed into bed around 11:30-midnight. The ship sailed much smoother the rest of the trip, too, than it had the first evening. But we all took our Bonine except DS8 and DH who were fine the entire trip.

That's about it for day 2.

OMG! It's the exact rooms we ahve booked for june 24 2004! WE also have the next one, too...5520, 5522, 5524 !! I'm glad that that you liked them.

Oh, we definitely thought they were great. Like I said, 5022 had the practically unobstructed view. 5024 had a barrel in front, or something. We didn't stay in 5020, but Scratch42 did and we met them. You'd have to ask her about the view or visit the Castaway site. Split bathrooms were great. Closet space. Sleeps 4, if you tell them to pull down the bed over the sofa.

You'll love them. Any other questions, I'd love to answer.

We also are getting the aaa mugs. On the boards they are talking about stickers instead of mugs did they do this on your cruise. If yes was could you get stickers with you aaa mug? I would like it so much better if it was the mugs.

We did not get the mugs, but we saw others with them. I didn't read anything about stickers on our navigators and because I saw mugs, I don't think stickers were available.

We brought our own ginger ale (to help with any seasickness) and just drank the soda at dinner. I treated my kids to a smoothie each, but basically they just drank what was at the drink station "free". We also brought our own beer and wine with us.

If you go to this show you get $ for merchandise on the ship?

If you are referring to the Who Wants to Be a Mouseketeer show, then the answer is yes. First, of course, you have to be randomly chosen. They call out a seat number. If you are it you can go up on stage or decline. If you decline, I think they continue to the person on the left? until they have a contestant. If a child is in the seat and wants to play, a parent may go up on stage with him/her. It is just like Who wants to be a Millionaire, but with Disney questions. The emcee will give big hints if you are unsure, until you reach the $80 of shipboard credit tier of the game. At least, that's what happened with the three or four contestants we saw play. The grand prize is a 7 night cruise for two! Until that, each level is onboard credit I believe.

Sorry this is so long. Hope this is what you were talking about.

This was a great show to go to, even if you aren't chosen. The music and lights are just like the t.v. show and I couldn't help but chuckle every time the music and lights sounded for "drama" for the next question. My DS15 even enjoyed this show.
