It's cold & snowy on Long Island- I need some tropical sunshine and warm ocean breezes - I leave for Florida in 9 days.

I plan to be at the meet on Thursday. I am a little behind on messages since I have been busy packing. My DH said "What do you think about leaving a week early?" I could not pass that up so we are leaving on Sunday! Hope to see everyone on the ship. Only 3 days left!!!!:earsgirl:

I have been juggling a couple of photo shoots I am committed to (Have to work <I>sometime</I>!), but my tentative "tourism" schedule is - 16th: MK and DTD with my mom; 17th: WDW parks with "poopie"; 18th: <I><a href="http://www.flascot.com/the_games/the_games.html" target="index">Scottish Highland Games</A></I> in Winter Springs; 19th: EPCOT & MGM with my mom; 20th: Sea World with "poopie" and "Califlady"; 21st: USF and IOA (probably solo); 23-26: AP cruise (<I>might</I> do a park on day of return); 27th: AK and MK; 28th: <I><a href="http://www.centralfloridazoo.org/" target="index">Central Florida Zoo</A></I> in Sanford; 29-30 - Probably staying "home" in Daytona Beach. So anyone who is doing the tourist thing before or after the cruise, you <I>may</I> see me around!

Getting my hair cut this Saturday - That should make me a few pounds lighter! :jester:

I hope to see <I>all of you</I> at the <I>Promenade Lounge</I> DIS meet!

Shari

To all you AP/DIS cruises. have you looked at the Disney Cruise site lately. As of this afternoon, your cruise has been removed for available staterooms. I guess you will be sailing with a full boat.

Enjoy your cruise.

I'll be following a week later on the Jan 30th 3 dayer.

I have sailed on the <I>Wonder</I> when it has been full and when it has been between two-thirds and three-quarters full. I really didn't notice the difference. DCL does a great job with "<I>guest management and distribution</I>." LOL!

The only time I felt it was a <I>crowded ship</I> was when there was an unusually high number of young kids who did not seem to be participating regularly in the kids' programs, and whose parents appeared to be nowhere in sight. THEN it seemed crowded, but in reality it wasn't.

Happy sailing!

Count me in at the Promenade Lounge , 3:00, Thursday! I've been busy and haven't kept up too good -- and we will be at the MK on the 27th too! Staying at the WL.

It's a balmy 4.4 degrees in NH right now. I read a post somewhere about 70 not being beach weather -- it sure sounds like it to me!

It is COLD here in central FL right now, but things are supposed to warm up on Thursday. Looking forward to meeting everyone at the <I>Promande Lounge</I> at 3 pm - - or sooner if we have an encounter in the terminal. :p

It's almost cruising time! organicb is already onboard for her back-to backs. :smooth:

See everyone soon!

Shari

Just starting to pack! We leave in less than 48 hours. Here in the Great White North it is supposed to reach a HIGH of 10 tomorrow (that's farenheit (sp?)).

Conversation at work:
Friend: "Not a good week to travel to Florida, highs are only in the 60's."

Me: "That would be more than 70 degrees warmer than it was here when I got up this morning. Show me to the Pool!"

See y'all at 3:00 - Promenade Lounge - Thursday! Signing out!

60's? Well, YESTERDAY it was, and it was BEAUTIFUL! That was the first nice day since I got here on the 14th. It was below freezing overnight I think every day except yesterday, and in the 50's daytime but windy so it felt about 40 or less. But yesterday was PERFECT and today seems to be shaping up that way as well. I think another cold front is expected this weekend, but we'll all be in the Bahamas so maybe we'll escape it. Besides, cool is NICE sometimes as long as it doesn't get too windy.

Everyone keep in mind that the <I>Promenade Lounge</I> is INSIDE so our "meet" will be comfortable no matter what the weather! :earsgirl:

See you real soon!
Shari

<I>(Edited for spelling!)</I>

Castaway Cay was perfect- a little on the cool side but lots of sun & not too much wind.
See everyone on Thursday @ 3pm.
Have a safe trip all.............

It was great to meet DISers on the Jan 23 cruise! I also met about a dozen "lurkers" who recognized me from my sig photo (Notice I have now changed it to Chip & Dale for the moment!).

Those of you in the Annual Passholder activities should have signed a photo release form, as I did. FYI - There was also a release form for Expedia, as they were onboard doing some 360 filming.

I hope everyone arrived home safely and that I'll see you again on a future cruise. I booked the 4-day Wonder for 9/28/03 to ensure that my favorite server is aboard (Very important!). Then 9 days after returning I'll be on the Magic for the western 10/11/03. Let's hope they are not using quite as much bleach then. :smooth:
