Our visit is only 12 days away! I don't think it has really registered with my son yes (7). This will be his very first visit to Disney and our first time ever staying at Deluxe Resorts. We actually fly out in 9 days to spend time with family first before heading to Disney.

Originally our trip was only going to be a 2-day park hopper trip, but with the Canadian Resident discount, we got four park days for just a little more than the park hopper...and when our initial resort plans fell through (cost), we rent DVC points for 4 nights and are really excited about staying at different resorts. I'm taking as a scouting adventure to decide where to stay when my oldest and I come down for an "eat your way around Disney" trip in a year or two.

Night 1-2 SSR
Night 3 AKV - Jambo
Night 4 BLT

all standard studios

Our Day plans are below; must do's are compliments of my ~7yr son

Day 1 (SUN): Epcot (11am- park close)

- BayMax & (maybe) Joy & Sadness
- Phineas & Ferb Adventure around the World Showcase

Fast Passes
- Soarin'
- Journey Into Imagination
- Spaceship Earth

Food (vegetarian w/ fish, egg, and dairy)
- Lunch: Sunshine Seasons
- Dinner: Yorshire Country Fish Shoppe
- Snacks: School Bread; Asst. World Showcase

Day 2 (MON): Hollywood Studios (7:45 am arrival - 2PM)
Character Breakfast @ Hollywood & Vine and Jedi Training Sign-up.

Must Do:
- Jedi Training
- Toy Story Mania
- StarWars Launch Bay
- Build a Lightsaber

Fast Passes
- Toy Story Mania
- Indiana Jones

Food
- Starring Roles - cupcakes
- Off-site protein filled lunch
- Dinner: Asst Disney Springs

Day 2 Evening @ Disney Springs
- Lego Store
- Build a Dino at T-rex
- Tea Traders (if I can drag the boy)
- Dinner: Blaze Pizza/Morimot Street Food
- Ferry/Riverboat back to Resort

Day 3(TUE): Animal Kingdom Lodge - Resort Day
Originally we were headed to Animal Kingdom park on this day, but the more I learned about the resort, the more I just wanted to hang out there. I wish we had more days to spend here. If we ever come back to Disney for multiple days, I am totally going to try to book several days here if I can...and maybe skip the parks....=p

Definitely planning on a late-ish waking and in room breakfast before checking out and moving to AKV.

Must Dos:
- Medallion Rubbing
- Boma: Cookie Decorating
- Face painting
- Pin Trading
- Mickey Tye-Dye
- Campfire
- Dinner @ Sanaa
- Night Vision Animal Viewing

Food:
- In room breakfast
- packed lunch
- Dinner @ Sanaa

Day 4 (WED): Magic Kingdom w/ Grandparents (park arrival 10-11AM (depending on boy's fatigue level) to park close)

1. Drive to Bay Lake Towers & Check-in - since my parents are staying with us at AKV I am thinking to go over to BLT early and check-in over there and drop my car/luggage while the boy catches some extra zzz's. That way we can either ride the bus straight to the park or ride over with mom and dad and not have to worry about losing precious park time with grand parents.

Must Dos:
- Buzz Light Year
- Speedway
- Fireworks

I imagine most of our time will be spend in New Fantasy Land on the carinval type rides and riding Buzzlight year back to back a lot of times.

Food:
My biggest sadness is that I didn't schedule a Be Our Guest reservation on this day and then we ended up dropping the Sunday at MK. I made a reservation for Sunday and not Wednesday...so no Be Our Guest for us this trip. Two years ago I came back three times before we finally got in without a reservation. We didn't realize at that time that we could have made a reservation in advance. Lesson learned...always book just in case...you can always cancel it if plans change...

- Breakfast - The Mara
- Lunch - Pinocchio
- Dinner Contempo Cafe - my parents think they will need a break in the afternoon, so we're hoping our room will be ready before dinner and we'll meet up with them for dinner at the resort before heading back to the park for the evening and fireworks (love the idea of being able to just walk to MK)

Day 5 (Thur): Animal Kindom (1/2 Day) - 10 AM- 4PM; unless the boy is up earlier
Check out of BLT

Must Dos
- Safari
- Congo River Rapids (if it's warm enough)

Food
- Breakfast: Contemp Cafe
- Lunch: undecided Quick Service: Pizzafari/Kusafiri Bakery
- Dinner: at home with grandparents

I really wish we had time for a movie under the start just to sit and snuggle...but who knows exactly how it will all shake out once we get there. =)
