Jan '04-book now, hold out or ???? (AP holder)

I am my own worst enemy when it comes to booking our trips! I haven't yet booked a hotel room for January and we have an AP. I see that there is only a week left on that Winter Dream Maker pkg-but we'd like to stay at POR and I don't think it would be cost effective for us to stay there (2 adults and 3 children-1 is only a year old) with the current package.

What are your thoughts on something better coming out? I'm talking about either AP rates or a better package? My gut says something will come out due to the time of year, but I said that when we went down over Labor Day and, of course, not a discount in sight (we're not AAA members). Oh well!

I don't know if this will help, but the AP rates for January 03 came out on October 28, 2002. Of course, there's no certainty that this will happen again this year, but I'll send some pixie dust your way.
