DId you hear he also said a gay joke ~ the only politician with a mandate is Jim McGreevy. Now if that was a republican who said that the NY Slimes and all the others in the press would be all over them. And I happen to like Carville. And I thought the egg on his face was funny and showed him to be a good sport.

Come on. No matter what your political stripes are, you have to love Carville. That guy is a cartoon character! He's great.

I used to watch the Carvilles on Russert a time ago. I was SHOCKED to see the both of them recently. Did one of them get sick or something? They just looked so worn out.

He's one of my favorite Democrats. He's completely partisan but he doesn't take it all so seriously. He knows that our elections are not the "life and death" matter that some try to make them out to be.

He enjoys politics for its' own sake.
