Just booked a studio at Kidani in August yesterday. Just wondering what the difference between the two houses maybe. Any feedback appreciated. :goodvibes

About 1 square foot. There really shouldn't be much difference at all. Not including the value studios which will be much smaller and only in Jambo House. 1 Bedroom and larger villas is where the real differences will appear between those in Jambo House and those in Kidani Village.

I'm wondering if the Kidani studios will have more storage space ... like maybe an actual closet like the rest of the DVC studios? Perhaps a bathroom set up that includes the sink outside of the actual bathroom area? The other DVC studios seem to be set up better than Jambo house ... so I'm thinking Kidani will model the other DVC resorts since they aren't constrained by existing room layouts/size like Jambo house was during the coversion.

I don't think I've seen a floor plan for Kidani.

The sinks in Jambo's studios are outside the bathroom area. In fact, there are double sinks in the studios. Very nice.

I'm hoping for closet space in the Kidani studios, too! I love Jambo but the conversion of hotel rooms to DVC meant less than ideal set ups for the studios, I think.

I am going to try Kidani SV (if my waitlist comes through) and am thinking about requesting a lower floor (closer to the animals) I really liked that “feel” when I stayed a night CRO. Since Jambo is all upper floors this is not possible there.

I stayed in a Jambo studio last summer and am trying Kidani this year. I was looking at the model photos & the diagram, it looks like there is just a stand alone closet in both. It also looks like the sink and tub are in one part of the bathroom with a door and then the toilet has another door in Kidani.

Here is the floor plan for a Kidani studio. It's similar to the Jambo House studios except for the bathroom layout. In Jambo the vanity area has two sinks and is an open area. The tub and toilet are in a little room to the side. In Kidani, there is a door into an area with the tub and vanity (which has one sink) and the toilet is in a small room to the side.

There is also a 360-degree tour here. When you first load the studio tour, you can see the broom closet on the right side of the initial image.

I believe all of the Kidani studios have a broom closet where only a small number of the Jambo studios do. It houses the ironing board, vacuum cleaner, etc. There is a rod for hanging clothes but not much space to hang up very much. As in Jambo House, the Kidani studios will have a large armoire, of which only half can be used for clothes, at least based on the armoire in the model room. Here are photos of the broom closet and the armoire from the model room. As you can see there is no hanging rod in the right hand side of the armoire and no shelves other than the one at the top making the right side of the armoire wasted space!

Well, I'm kinda excited about the Kidani bathrooms....I am a bath person and I get grossed out that most studio bathroom setups have the toilet right by the tub...yuck!
So this is going to be a good reason to stay in a Kidani studio!
