It was pretty funny--I was in the bathroom (TMI, I know), and all of a sudden, the row of lights over the mirror went out. I actually had to sit there and think "did I turn those off?".

I've had to drive back home to make sure I turned off the stove.. or sit in the drive and call the house to see if DH will make sure this, that or the other isn't on.. especially the curling iron!

On Christmas Eve, we went down to my mom's. Halfway there, DH realizes he's left the candle burning in our living room. We kept calling the house whil we were at mom's to see if the answering machine picked up--so we'd know the house didn't burn down!!
