Jambo AK Grand Villa - How hard to get at 11 months?

Looking to book a grand villa at Jambo House for 3 nights prior to family cruise - December 2021.

Wondering how hard to get at 11 months? It will be a Friday/Sat/Sunday night stay in early December.

I got it for 2 nights before Xmas last Xmas...at less than 7 months out on waitlist. I don't think it is awfully hard like club level rooms. But you might want to walk it from mid November. Just book like Nov 14-17 and every other day flip it by modifying online until you get to the 3 nights in Dec that you want. Or just be online right at 8am and if you don't get it try for the Kidani one and then waitlist Jambo. It is worth the work...very very nice room with pool table. Just maybe call MS and have them add to your reservation that you do not want the HA one (there is one at Jambo and that's the one we got and the view isn't great....look at hot tub and flamingo pen which is super noisy too plus all the HA things in the room were not needed and took away a bit like the floor got sopping wet with roll in shower). Let me see what room # it was and will come back here to post it....

Room 5483 was the HA we had. Maybe put in request to NOT get that one unless you need it.

Yep. It had missing bottom cabnetry and lower sinks and appliances and stuff like that plus roll in shower that gets floor wet and lower lightswitches and bed.

To date, the Jambo GVs have been available (at least available until after 9 a.m. eastern), at 11-months out from the entire first week of December.

Just tried for Dec 2021. Apparently there are walkers. Some days not available. Really need to find a way to stop walkers. Just my opinion.

I’m seeing one missing day for an AKV-J GV in December. Just one and that’s today. It could be walkers or it could just be that the first full week of December is a popular time to travel...early enough not to interfere with Christmas obligations, low points requirements, holiday decorations.

Book what you can. Waitlist what you can’t get. And check back daily to pick up the crumbs that any walkers leave behind.
