JAmbo 1bdr v. kidani 1 bdrm

If you had a 6 year old, 4 year old and infant (6 mos), which would you stay in - during late August.

Please take into account the late day thunderstorms and the fact that this will be mostly a resort vacation rather than every day at the parks. Any opinions are welcome, especially if you have stayed in both places. I will have a vehicle and will not be bus dependent.

kidani - the 1-bedroom is so much bigger and you will need the extra room.

besides if you get 2 or 3 or 4 floor the animals are closer - and the kids should love that.

Given that you have a vehicle I would say Kidani. DD loved the community hall there.

My only concern if how much you plan to use Mara?

I agree if you do a lot of CS then Jambo, otherwise 2 bathrooms and extra space at Kidani are nice and my kids like the pool area better. Oh yea, you have to check at the master bath, it is palacial.

We just got back from our first stay at Kidani in a 1 bedroom. The extra space was marvelous. We usually stay in 2 bedroom villas but were very comfortable in the 1 bedroom at Kidani. My 9 year old son loved the Community Hall and there were always lots of younger kids doing projects and playing games. It doesn't have the grand feel of the lobby at Jambo House but kids don't usually give a hoot about things like that. Hopping a bus to Jambo is easy for a trip to Mara but the walk back can be hot. Only the bus from Downtown Disney stops at Jambo before Kidani so we found it easier to just walk back. You really can't go wrong with either.
