Jamaica / signing for two excursions, or private car?

Hi..
Disney Treasure western cruise in March
Jamaica, we would love to do the zipline/bobslead as well as the Dunn cascades, signing up for the two excursions is too tight, for the transfers etc

If we do thr private car /6 hrs, through Disney can we ask them to take us to both places and do the activities?

i understand that if any excursion (Disney port adventure) gets delayed, then ship will wait.. right?.. does it apply for the private car booked through them?

Not planning for it, but I would like to understand better the ins and outs of the private car option

First, while, if you're on a DCL excursion, and you get delayed DCL will most likely wait for you, IF THEY CAN. It's not guaranteed. Weather, tides, emergencies can all mean the ship has to leave, even if everyone isn't onboard.

But, they will assist you in joining back up with the ship, if they have to leave before you get back.

If you book the private car through DCL, it's considered a DCL excursion.

It is quite a distance from where the ship docks to the excursions you are considering doing 90-120 mins each direction) so you will need to take that into consideration too.

I believe both excursions you want to do are close together but it might still be a challenge to do both - we did the zip line + bobsled tour in 2023 and did not have a ton of time to do the shops at the dock when we returned. From photo timestamps I can tell you the following: (we waited in a lot of lines this tour):

- left ship 7:30AM
- arrived at your location at 9:22AM and took chairlift up
- rode bobsled at 10;54 (we waited in line for over an hour to ride the bobsled)
- started dressing for zip line at 11:13
- first zip line at 11:51
- chair lift back down to bus at 12:45
- bus left at 1:00. We were given our box lunches to eat in the bus
- bus arrived back at ship at 2:25
- ship left at 5:00

These tours are done with large groups whether on a Disney tour or another company so it takes time for each person in the group to bobsled but more so dress and complete the zip line.

It might be possible to do Dunn’s Falls which is right next to the zip line/bobsled location but you would want to know how long it takes to do that excursion as you need to consider the 3-4 hours of transportation time in Jamaica due to where the Disney ships dock (unless this has changed since Feb 2023.)
