We will be at Jaleo for Father's Day as a party of 8. A few of us are interested in the Jaleo Experience tasting menu. Has anyone tried this? How was it? I am also wondering if this is something the entire table would have to get or if some could opt out and order from the regular menu. This is our first time here and I'm pretty sure my daughter will only eat a salad and maybe the chicken fritters. She is the opposite of adventurous when it comes to food. A few of us will try anything, and the rest are somewhere in between. 2 of my sons and I would definitely like to try this, and the rest would depending on what is offered. Thanks for any insights.

My wife and I had this during our last trip and it was one the best meals/experiences I've ever had! I don't think there was a single thing we didn't enjoy. You will be stuffed at the end, its 5 courses and each course is 3 tapas (except the dessert course which was 2 different deserts, im still dreaming about the flan and I normally dont like flan).

You can tell them how many want to participate in the tasting experience. It is fantastic. So much so I have done it more than once. Come prepared to eat!

This sounds incredible. Is the tasting experience always the same food items or does it vary what they serve you?

We did a 5 course version of it last time and are looking forward to doing the full deal.
Ours was the best meal of the trip. We did it with the wine pairing and it was amazing.

If some order the Experience and some don’t would that make meal pacing awkward?

Nope, have actually been there with someone who ordered the experience Jose's Way, and nobody else did. There was so much food that it got shared around. if pacing of the meal bothers you, then maybe arrange to have everyone order it or nobody order it.

Could a tasting menu be shared? I have a very small appetite, but very much want to try it! Could my husband and I share?

we didn't order it to share, we had one person order it and it was too much food, so they passed it around. Not sure if they allow it to be ordered to share.
