I was in Wal-Mart today and saw that they were starting to get The Incredibles 2 toys in. I was excited until I looked closer.

All the action figures are the MALE characters! At first I thought Mrs. Incredible and Voilet were out of stock. Then I looked at the back of the box.

Jakks Pacific didn't even make them!

How could anyone think this is acceptable? It's a movie about a family of superheroes. Kids, ALL KIDS, are going to want the whole family. Did the toy companies learn nothing from the recent Wonder Woman movie? Or that new female Star Wars character was left out of the toys and merchandise?

Does anybody else find this infuriating as I do?

Yes, it's very frustrating. It's just perpetuating the stereotype that only boys will want them and they'll only want the male characters.

    What malarkey.

Series 2? Or perhaps they just have poor sales with female characters. Plus, from the photos you posted, these were requested to be featured in the Boys' section. Jaxx Pacific is a major manufacturer... I'm sure they have reasons for their decisions. But at the end of the day, this line is going to sit on shelves ahead of being relegated to the clearance section. Same thing happens with most of their action figure lines, it seems. Remember those cool Monsters University toys Disney released? No, I didn't think so.

If you check their website, Elastigirl and Violet are listed as basic figures too. It’s possible that your specific Walmart hasn’t gotten them in yet, that they didn’t order them or someone put the figures out early.

They have an all-female doll set that includes Elastigirl, Violet and Edna Mode. They lady Incredibles are in the two pack sets, blind boxes, a Power Couple set and a couple vehicle sets.

I can confirm that the female Incredibles 2 toys exist. I saw them at my local Toys R Us at their Going Out of Business Sale.

There were also two female talking toys (Edna Mode and Elastigirl) to the one male talking toy (Mr Incredible).

I did find it kind of odd that to get Elastigirl to talk you had to press between her boobs, but I guess the “i” logo is also how you get Mr Incredible to talk so it sort of makes sense.
