We are flying into Jacksonville and then driving to WDW for our March trip due to a great deal I got on airfare (saving over half even with a rental car and extra night in hotel
So, now I have a few questions for those familiar with that drive.
What is the best/recommended way to go? Mapquest has me starting out on I95 and then taking I295 then back to I95 - is this better or should I just stay on I95? btw - we are arriving on a Friday at 1:55, so I figure by the time we grab our bags and rent the car we will be on the road by 3.
About how long is the drive? Mapquest has 2 1/2 - 3 hrs - is that pretty close or should I expect longer/shorter?
Are there any tolls on that stretch I95?
Are there any stores (grocery, Target, Walmart) that are easy to get to either in Jacksonville or Downtown Disney (we are staying that Friday night at the Wyndham and then check into AOA the next morning).
TIA for any help as I am so used to just flying directly into MCO and using ME
