Jack Hanna Weekend

We are going to coincidentally be at SeaWorld during Jack Hanna weekend in September, and had some questions for those of you who may be familiar with this.

We were looking forward to do doing Dine with Shamu while we were there, but i noticed on the dates (Sept 14th and 15th) that all dining was grayed out. It looks like it may be because there are "Eat with Jack Hanna" meals. Which is fine, that could be a very fun experience as well, but there is no where to buy tickets for any of these events.

I called SeaWorld and spoke to a lady who looked it up and very unsurely said that they have not released anything for those days yet and to check back in August. Its only about 45 days away, so not sure why they would not have released anything yet.

Has anyone had an experience with getting dining reservations during this time or doing one of the special "meet Jack" things?

Also, what should we expect as far as crowds. It is offseason, but it is a Saturday and it is Jack Hanna Weekend. Will the park get very crowded?

Thanks.

The dinner is new this will be the first yr they are doing it. Good thing is if you attend it you get priority seating at the show. So that helps with not waiting long for the show to get a seat. It may be a bit more crowded then some other off season days but I dont think it will be that bad like summer time.

I just went on the website and you can make reservations online for the dinner and breakfast with Jack Hanna.

Thanks. I just checked the site again and they have "Book now" on there. I never saw this before, even when I looked this morning. And I just talked to a Rep from SeaWorld yesterday and she couldn't do anything either. Who knows... maybe they just released them or both of us missed it.

Actually, it looks like that "Book Now" Option is only for PASS members.

I have looked all over the site and there is no where that I can find that allows others to order

I found another spot to reserve it.

All is well now. Would still be interested in hearing from people who have done this before and what there experience was like.

Haven't ever gone to the breakfast but others said it was really worth going. Usually for the shows AP holders get to go in early and do a meet and greet and get pictures with Jack. Done this several times but always fun. Jack is as hyper on stage as when he is on Leno or Letterman and you laugh a lot. He is the really friendly man that he seems to be on TV,

Each year they bring some of the same type animals but always have something you have never seen.

Definitely a fun day.

If you don't do the dinner or breakfast, people start lining up about an hour early. But if you wait till closer to show time, most people still get in. Harder to see from the back but everything is on big screen like at concerts, too. Last year, he stuck around after the show so people who did not have APs could get pics with him and promised to meet everyone he could.
