Izzy costume quality question

My 3 year old has declared she wants to be Izzy for Halloween. I like the idea because she wears pants!

Iparty has it for $20 after coupons. Disney store is $35. The difference is Disney store includes a wig and boot covers...neither necessary in my opinion.

My question relates to quality. The iparty one was typical Halloween flimsy. We are in New England, so an outfit underneath would be a must. Does anyone know if they Disney store costume is a higher quality/thicker costume?

My daughter is also going to be Izzy this year. I went around and researched different "Izzy" Costumes. I ended up buying from the Disney Store online. It is more money but the quality can't be compared. The material is not flimsy at all. This is the third costume I have bought from them and they are wonderful and authentic. Plus my son still plays in his and it has held up very nicely.

IF anyone is considering buying Izzy from TDS, do it ASAP, it is selling out in the stores.

Agreed! I went Friday night and store was sold out of anything larger than 3T. Luckily, I noticed that the one on the mannequin looked a little bigger, and sure enough it was a 4T. I really wanted a 5T for growing room, but DD fit into the 4T so I bought it. (i already knew 5T was sold out online.) While waiting on the CM to get the costume down for me, the 2Ts and 3Ts were getting perused pretty heavily. And there weren't many left.

And to answer your original question, the quality is excellent. Not particularly thick, so layers may be warranted if Halloween is cold, but much better made than the typical Halloween costumes you get elsewhere.
