Hi all

Which season do you prefer/think is best at DLP?? :goodvibes
Which seaons shows do you prefer?

Im am going to bring my DS on his very first DLP trip next year and am torn between a Halloween and a Christmas trip!
He will be 2 when we travel, is he free into the park? I know he can dine for free in the buffets, are there any other perks?? :rotfl::rotfl: Im buying my AP when we go unless theres a better package offer in the mean time. Always budget conscious :)

We would be going midweek - probably Monday to Thursday. Halloween is coming in at €400 for flights and accomodation for Mon 10th Oct to Thurs 13th but id expect mid Novemeber wouldnt be much more expensive! :goodvibes

Thanks all!

I really like Halloween season, think its great fun - but for me, nothing is as beautiful as DLP at Christmas .

I think your DS might "get" Christmas more than Halloween too, if you see what I mean - and usually November is cheaper than October, because November is winter season, October isn't ;).

Your DS will be free into the parks, and free at buffets, just as you thought.

i love both to be honest. halloween is really fun but christmas is magical

thanks guys! was leaning that way myself!

so what do ye think.. offsite and get an a.p or onsite? my ds has been dancing all eveing to mickey mouse clubhouse. his face is going to light up!!

Halloween every time, the decorations are fab. LOVE the pumpkin men and women :goodvibes
we love the nicer weather, chilly but sunny usually

Christmas IS pretty but much much colder, and as a result people seem a lot more miserable in general!

also you can get snow / delays for flights etc due to weather conditions st that time of year

Glad I have seen it once, but don't feel the need to go back in xmas season again

Hi all, think we're settled on christmas....and DP an DD are coming now but this is going to be a secret bday surprise for DD who will be 6 in early november.
I was feeling bad that DD wouldnt be coming as its so close to her bday (i thought i wouldnt be able to manage my two on my own but DP said he'd love to go as it'll be less thrill ride orientated of a trip and hes a scaredy cat!!!) :cool1::cool1::cool1: love it when a plan comes together! thanks for all your help!!

Great news, sounds like the perfect trip - first trip for your DS, birthday trip for your DD, christmas magic for everyone and the whole family together :goodvibes
Have you decided between offsite or onsite yet? And did you know you can book for the start of xmas season just now? We booked early on for the last day of available booking (7th Nov) which was the very first day of xmas season, think its the same this year. As long as your arrival date is available the rest of your stay doesnt need to be!

Lola dont tempt me!!!!! :lmao:
I think i'll just wait a little longer and book the 14th of november... although im immediately going to check prices for the 7th :cool1:

I know!!! im so so so so excited. Our last family trip was with DPs bro and niece and without our DS so this is our 1st proper family one! :) My DLP planning keeps me cheery when things arent so good :goodvibes

Will it be the same price on 14th November? You're right to be excited :goodvibes it all sounds lovely. I'm the same, DLP is my escape from the stresses etc of everyday life, its literally an escape when im there, but when im not its my "happy place" to think about my next trip :rotfl:
