I've missed you oh so much VMK!

Wow, VMK has certainly changed since I visited it last during the middle of summer! I wasn't a VMK user last Halloween, but from the stories I've heard on this board, I had a hunch they'd be selling amazing items in the shops to celebrate the holiday. I was looking forward to it then, but my college course work has been so extremely rough this past semester that I haven't even had the slightest bit of time to think about VMK, let alone going on the computer for my own entertainment. Not to mention, I'm currently failing an upper level class that goes toward my Biochemistry degree (Quantitative Analysis), as are the rest of my classmates. My prof finds joy in seeing his students cry every lab period, apparently. So there goes my GPA!

But enough small talk... I bet I missed out on some really nice VMK items. Can anyone be so kind to let me know what furnishings, pins, or costume parts VMK has already sold or is still planning to sell? Any new host or quest pins? Is there a thread I can visit that lists these items? The search engine isn't working so well for me right now. I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank you! It's good to be back, well, for the time-being, haha.

Hi!

I will help as much as I can remember LOL.

August was Food Month.
Host special Pin was the Churro Pin.
Pins releases that month was popcorn pin, pretzel pin, Ice cream mickey pin and turkey leg pin. I do not think anything as far as furniture or costumes were released.

September was Tron Month.
Host special Pin was The tron lightcycle pin.
Pins releases this month was tron bit pin, recognizer pin, Disc pin and MCP pin.
Items released:
blue tron costume - Helmut, top , pants and shoes- not sure if still in store?
tron arcade cabinet - available from winning Blast in space arcade game
tron table and chairs - available from winning Hyperspace mountain arcade game
Tron tanks yellow - no longer available
Tron red tanks - no longer available
Tron lightcycle chairs blue and yellow - still available in inner space shop
Tron teleporters - no longer available

October is halloween month
Host special pin is the Halloween mickey ghost pin.
Pins on sale have been a halloween bat pin and pumpkin pin.

Special Quest:
Available in Q - is for a halloween Pumpkin Quest pin

Pirates game also has a new twist.
For every three games you win ( 3 in one level that is) you receive a key that you can use to open the treasure chests in the pirate treasure room.

Bronze key is from first level of pirates ( capture or battle).
From the bronze chest you can get the Black, purple, blue or GREEN pirate throne - of which is no longer available in the stores- or credits.

Silver key is from level two.
From the silver chest you can win credits or a pirate maze wall, turret or cannon wall.

Gold key from level three can possibly win you credits, more maze wall stuff or Turn into coral Magic one time use.

Opening these treasure chest does not gaurantee a prize but if you find it empty you get one hundred credits added to your account

I hope this helps. Not sure if I covered everything, hopefully someone here can correct or add to what I have typed.

LOL I believe the coral magic expires if not used after 30 days. The Pirates keys have 1 day expiration dates. Really not sure on bat magic; hopefully someone can add more info on that.

I bought one of the one use Bat magic pins a while ago. They expire after 30 days unless you use it first.

But boy, I really did miss a lot, huh? LOL. I was crossing my fingers about the HM outfit, especially the top hat. I've been lemming one for so long. I'll have to see what I have up for trade, I suppose.

I know you can do it Briar, you'll do just fine in your class! I know how some teachers can be quite a pain in the... bum . Last year I was getting 97% in principals of math, and this semester I'm only getting 79% (quite a significant change for me) all because my teacher thinks school is so we can learn on our own. She doesn't explain anything to us, she just gives us the homework and tells us to do it; I thought teachers were paid to teach us!

Anyways, now that I'm finished my little teacher rant... what's new??anything exciting happening?? I've missed you so much, and you certainly came back at the right time (in the middle of Halloween Month)!

I know you can do it Briar, you'll do just fine in your class! I know how some teachers can be quite a pain in the... bum . I'm sorry to see you're also having difficulty with your classes this semester. I hope everything turns out the best for you! Although, I'm positive you'll pull that grade around because you're a very smart girl. My professor basically has the same philosophy, as he often says, "Teach yourselves such and such...," in class, when everyone is clueless to begin with. So, I feel your pain, haha.

Nope, there's nothing new. I officially have no life thanks to this class. My brain feels like mush, and I no longer have the will power to study the material, when it doesn't even benefit me at ALL. Hence my comeback to VMK, LOL.

It's been great catching up with you these past few days on VMK! I especially missed my chats with you in your guest rooms. No worries, there will be more of those to come! And thanks so much, once again, for the HM Top Hat! You made my day, well, my yesterday, as a matter of fact.

As a side note I had a 300/400 level professor who taught Cost Accounting. Mind you it wass required to get my accounting degree back then and he was the only teacher for it. He decided to give us a one question test. Argg. Either you pass or fail. I hear you about GPA. Keep plugging along, Sometimes those professors do make sences. lol

I'm so happy you're back Briar, I really was starting to wonder if you were OK, and I didn't even know you had DIS! It's great to finally see you again.

Judging from the looks of things here, its a bad year for schools. I don't even bother to study anymore (not that I ever did ).

I know what you mean about having no life, between everything I do during the week, school, homework and VMK, its hard to find time to just go out and socialize with your friends! Lol

And no problem about the top hat, I bought a few extras to trade once they get good and rare again, and you're my friend . I just wish I had bought more of the witch hat and costumes, then I could have given you some of those too.

Unfortunately I didn't even know that you were coming back! I should have bought more of those pins too. I'm sure you'll do OK with those trades because they aren't too rare yet, if you need help I'll see what I can dig out for you.
