Well, everything is finally resolved. I am sorry I disappeared. I was warned about public internet forums, so kept to myself. Turns out it was my private facebook and myspace pages that were used against me. I would have been much safer here. LOL Not sure how, but my facebook and myspace pages were hacked as well as my personal email.

My daughter has been hospitalized 4 times since Sept, but is doing better now. She is a fighter. I am much stronger now and have realized that I do have a little fight in me.

Anyway, some of you have messaged me wanting to know how I was. I am doing OK. For those of you who know the who, what, when, where, etc of things, please don't post it. I will just say that he was found guilty and was sentenced to 108 years w/o parole. Yes, that is one hundred and eight.

I am remodeling my house and am almost done. I am going back to college to finish my degree in education. My kids start school on Thursday and are very excited about it. I am gonna miss them. This will be their first time not being homeschooled.

On the Fort front, we have reservations the first week of Oct. This is an important trip for us. We are celebrating our new lives.

Well, some of you might be interested in knowing that I have discovered alcohol. Yes me! New Year's Eve I had my first mimosa and first champagne. I tried a vodka and cranberry (what cranberry??? Do they just put a drop for the color?) LOL A dirty grey goose and amaretto sour. AFTER I felt sick, my friend/date told me I shouldn't mix my alcohols. THANKS. I still give him a hard time about that. LOL I also had my first daiquiri. YUM!!! Boy have I been missing out. My favorite so far is the apple martini. I have tried sake (YUK) and beer (YUK) and even tried a sake bomb (if I don't like beer and don't like sake don't know why I tried it, but I am in the experimental phase. LOL) I have tried a few margaritas. Don't like the regular ones, but the topshelf or "golden" ones are pretty good. I did find that I can handle vodka, but "tequila makes her clothes fall off". LOL WOW that stuff is strong. Still have not been drunk, but did need a little help staying upright on the dance floor a time or two. LOL I found a clear beer that I like. Smirnoff Ice Green Apple Bite. I also like Bacardi Silver mojito. I had a friend from Texas here that took great pleasure in showing me the world. And boy did he. I tried things I never would have w/o his urging.

I have come out a better person now. I am stronger and have found the me I used to be again. I am loving life and got my spark back. I am the firecracker my old friends knew me as. My kids and I will NEVER be victims again. I love my life and feel very blessed to still be here.

Well, sorry for the novel, just wanted to give an update to those that have been asking and apologizing for seeming to blow ya'll off. I really did miss you and couldn't wait to get back on.

So, how is everybody?

That's great!!!!

However, ya need to change your profile on the right. Don't think ya live "wherever the army sends ya" anymore!!!!!!

Welcome back, Sandi! Glad to hear that things are being worked through, I know better than to say that "everything came out good." We are still here, and have even added a few new nuts to the bunch. Get ready for a few people to campaign for you to move your Fort vacation back a few weeks, 'cause there's a major gathering building up over Halloween.

Hang in there. This is a crazy life sometimes, to be sure. But, the Fort is still there and the Fiends are still here. It's pretty good, all in all.

Did I say Welcome Back? :)

Sandi, it's really wonderful to hear you're doing ok. I've wondered many times how you were doing and what the outcome was. I'm so glad that you and your kids are safe! :thumbsup2 Welcome back!!

Wow,Sandi.....its great tohear fromyou...you PARTY ANIMAL!!!!!!! Im so glad that you've found the person that you once were and are now happy...Im ALSO very glad the SOB got a free ride to a place that treats people like him with "special attention"!!!!

Welcome back....there's LOTS of catching up to do!!!!

Sandi - Glad to have you back, and even happier everything worked out. The system may not be the best, but it generally does work. Consider moving your WDW trip to the end of October if possible - a whole bunch of us will be there then.

I second that -----

Glad to hear you're back - and everything is geting better.

Since she doesn't like beer, she would not be worth much on the beers around the world tour, but maybe she could substitute wine.

Welcome Back Sandi! You were missed.

Welcome back and I'm glad all that drama's behind you. That a whole lot of drinking going on, you can still have fun without all that, better check this dude that's showing you such a good time. :rolleyes1

Welcome home Sandi, i've worried about you...glad your ok.

Sandi! I've thought about you often....worried, but had faith that the outcome would be as it should. It's been an agonizing road for you, I'm sure, but it sounds like you and the kids are a tighter bunch because of it. Have fun rediscovering yourself....it sounds like you are!!! :lmao: Be careful though ;)

consider bumping your trip back a couple weeks, too...we'll help you forget all your troubles :goodvibes

Wow guys, thanks for the welcome back!

I will see if I can move my ressies to the 17th through the 25th. I can spend the 24th with you guys. MNSSHP is not in my budget this trip however, so won't be doing that. I will be in a tent site, so will have to "commute" to the festivities. LOL I am hoping for the 1500 loop. Right now I have a AAA discount so my site is $34/nt. Can't beat that. Every penny counts right now. I am getting the tickets with the military deal. I am doing the whole trip for $1500 including tix, food, lodging, and gas. The little kids better do some serious kissing up to MawMaw if they want souvenirs. LOL

Seriously on the drinking though, it is not that much. I don't get out too much and still have not been drunk. A 6 pack of smirnoff will last me a month or 2. Other than NYE, I only have one drink when I am out. So please, don't worry. Although, I am in the best city for partying. LOL

Hey Rog, I rode the bull at Bourbon Cowboy!!! I highly recommend it. It was a hoot. It kicked my butt, but it was a very empowering thing to stay on as long as I did.

You guys are so wonderful. I hope I can move my ressies. I guess that means I will have to add some smirnoff to my grocery list. :rolleyes1

My current new experience is my kids going to traditional school. This week was uniform and school supply shopping plus orientation for 3 kids. Next week is all of that for the youngest for Kindergarten. How do ya'll do it? I am sure I will get into a routine soon enough. It is gonna be wierd going back to college at my age too. I am a grandma for crying out loud!!! Look out Gramma in the HOUSE!!!! LOL :dance3:

Well, keep your fingers crossed that I can move my ressies so I can join ya'll.

:grouphug:

No, I had on long jeans, long sleeves, and a cami underneath. LOL Yeah, I know, I am no fun. LOL As wild and crazy as I can get, I do maintain some level of decorum. :upsidedow

Hey, I can't risk getting arrested! :rolleyes1 How would I explain that to my teenagers?
