I've lost my right shoe!

I have been in a Cam Walker for the last 7 months. The Dr cleared me on Monday to start trying to wear a shoe for short periods of time. But I can't find my darn right shoe! It has been so long since I have needed it I don't remember where it is. I think I may be cleaning out my closet today!!

I have saved a lot of laundry on socks for the last 7 months since I have only worn one. I stopped even bothering to mate them before I put them away. I will have to start again!

I always wonder about that too! How do you lose one shoe on the highway?

The problem is that I did buy new shoes before my surgery and that is why I can't find it! I know I put it away somewhere "safe" until I would need it. But it isn't in the box or in our shoe basket or on my shoe shelf. I am thinking I threw it on my closet floor and right now it looks like a tornado went through so Bomb is probably right and it is under a pile of something!

I always wonder about that too! How do you lose one shoe on the highway?

I can answer that one. You set your shoes (to wear after church or the gym or whatever) on top of your vehicle while you get it unlocked and kid and all their stuff and all of your stuff loaded in and the shoes don't make it into the car.

Then on the way home you see one of your shoes in the road and realize, you finally know the answer to the age old question: How did that happen?
