Came home last night from the Members Cruise. It was great, I'll leave the reports to the pros. Having nothin planned for future trips, first thing this AM I called and booked the Boardwalk for me and Britt (DD 5 yrs old at that time). We'll be leaving after Thanksgiving and staying 4 nights, my excuse to DH being that I want her to see the Christmas lights. DH thinks I'm sick after just getting back from 2 weeks but I hate the idea of not knowing when I'm going home again. Drats that DVC !! ;) Any help on special events at Xmas time would be appreciated. Gosh I love the planning!!

Make sure you schedule in a show of the Candlelight Processional. It is awesome! Your DD will also love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the Osborne Lights. And check out some of the resort decorations--esp. the WL and GF.

Don't feel bad. I came back after 10 days at VWL and called my guide to ask about an add on so we can stay longer next year. The ONE AND ONLY thing that stopped me is that there is a slight possibility that DBF and I could be buying a house together this year, and DBF said I should feel priviliged that we have the 150 points we have because a lot of others don't even have that. So I decided not to go through with it.

But I can definitely relate!:)

How about having two trips booked at the same time? Tell dh it could be worse.:D I am glad you enjoyed the cruise.

Another vote for the Candlelight Processional. We like to do the dinner package, it is quite reasonable. You get dinner and preferred seating at what usually amounts to less than dinner would have cost alone.

Know how you feel about the need to have the next trip ready. We are leaving tomorrow to go to the west coast for a week and will end that trip with a visit to D-land. But we already have our WDW trips booked for the year. If you think the DVC bug is bad, add APs to the mix!

those things snd wonderful! None of us have ever been there b4 for xmas lights. I'm really looking forward to the resort hopping. Do you guys think the Osbourne lights are ok for a 5 yr old? Keep in mind she doesn't like fireworks.....Now where do I find info on the lights and the Mickey Parade. thanks again, you guys are great! Kim anniet: Good luck on the house! What an exciting time for you and your DBF.

The Osborne lights aren't scary at all. They are gorgeous and should impress even a 5 year old. It's like walking in a city of lights....
