I've got to stop looking at the resort pictures!

I really believe this is why I'm so indecisive on the resort each trip.

This time I thought that I've really thought it through.

January trip (DH running marathon). I knew we wanted to be on the monorail so we can watch DH run through MK and then monorail over to EPCOT. This has always worked well for us. So I narrowed it down to Poly and GF. Last year we stayed at Poly for the marathon, year before GF. I decided on the Poly for this trip solely based on the fact that since the weather is not always "pool weather" the kids really liked the arcade at the Poly better than the GF arcade. Picked the Poly.

July trip - I knew we wanted to do the end of our trip at YC because the kids love SAB. First ten days I kept going back and forth GF and the Poly. Now staying at the Poly for 10 nights (gv) would save us $450 over the gv GF. Our family all agrees though that we have missed GF so I went for GF.

Now that I'm looking at the pictures I'm going back and forth. Should we switch and do GF in January (saving money) since we liked seeing the fireworks and castle from the Poly pool? Should we keep what we have?

Decisons, decisions. Of course if AP rates come out for our summer trip everything could change! We're doing the package for January as I want to wait to get our new APs until our July trip so that they will cover that trip, a trip in February when the girls are twirling at Disney and the July 2009 trip.

Any suggestions? Change or leave alone?

OK, here goes....since your kids like arcades and it probably won't be pool weather how about the CR TPV?? BEAUTIFUL view of the fireworks and MK and the whole "world" from the tower rooms.

The CR is my 3 kids favorite for the arcade and the atmosphere and the exciting energetic feel of it. I have convinced them that GF is wonderful, too , but their hearts are at the CR.....especially DS17. I haven't stayed there since the rehabs because we've had to vacation during school breaks etc and usually during pool weather and I HATE the CR pool area. If I could go in Jan/Feb I would choose CR for the kids. It is wonderful to be able to walk b/f to the MK and bypass the evening closing time crowds.

Ds would love to stay at CR, he's dying to stay at the "monorail hotel". I know the TPV is fantastic but DH isn't crazy about CR - feels it is too sterile.

Still not sure if I made the right decision. I keep going back and forth Poly for January and GF for July or GF for January and Poly for July. I know we'll definitely keep YC in the picture for the summer because we love SAB and its so nice to be able to walk to EPCOT and take the boat to MGM.

I know there will be people who thinks its silly to make this into such a big decision but I'm obsessed!
