You should have said you were coming to Norfolk we probbably could have met up for a coffee as some parts of Norfolk are only an hours drive from us :)

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. :goodvibes

Bailey is a real cutie but has the makings of a right little madame! ::yes:: She showed Stamford who is the boss within the first 5 minutes of meeting him last night with some really cute little growls. They are slowly sussing each other out.

No worries Em...Happy birthday to your SD, hope you all had a lovely day. :cheer2:

We didn't know until Friday that we were coming to Norfolk as we were waiting to find out from the breeder when we could go and get her. It didn't even cross my mind that you would be not too far....we went to Thuxton, which is just past Thetford. Do you know it?

How did you get on overnight Claire ? i remember for the first few days Jarvis was awful at night ;)

The first night (Saturday) was a nightmare Nat....I got less than 2 hours sleep! We have her crate next to me so when she cries I can just stroke her and settle her and also so that we don't make Stamford feel left out we have put his crate in our room aswell. She was much better last night though I think she woke me up about 4 or 5 times but I just put my arm over into her crate and she sniffs me and goes back off to sleep straight away. :yay: What amazes me is my DH sleeps through it all! He said to me this morning did she wake up last night, I replied look at the bags under my eyes! :lmao:

One thing that has really surprised us is she has not had any little accidents in the house at all. :thumbsup2 Everything has been 'done' outside, some on the grass and some on the concrete (she was going on the concrete at the breeders house) so grass is alien to her but she's learning.

I used to live in Norfolk before moving to Suffolk and so I know the area pretty well. I've not been to Thuxton but I know of it it, its just over an hour away from us.

Glad you got a little more sleep last night. NTW DH's never wake up - it doesn't change when you have children either :lmao:

It's funny as I said that to him. :lmao: He feels so guilty as he just doesn't hear her and keeps telling me to wake him but I don't mind. (He was exactly the same when Stamford was a pup!)
