We just got back 2 weeks ago from a great time in the parks and already I'm missing it so much I want to go back before our AP's expire the end of next month.

Has anyone else taken an unexpected trip to take advantage of the last days of their AP?

I can't be the only disney crazy nut out here....:dance3:

We did the same thing in early July of this past year, our APs were expiring, but we had the added complexity of moving into a new house a few days before our trip. We did it anyway!! had a great time and would do it again.

We were not back for just a couple of months and have already worked out another trip for Dec/Jan, only question now is "if" we convert to AP again, only thinking is because we are saving for another WDW trip next Christmas, for 2013.

Can't you get AP's that are good for both parks? I will have to look into that for next year. We want to do WDW also, never been.

But for now I just can't get my fill of Disneyland/DCA...especially with the new Carsland!

Yes, that is the Premier Passport. :thumbsup2

I don't have an AP, but we are planning something similar. We were given a beyond excellent offer at work, so I booked me and the kids a surprise trip next month. DBF cannot make that trip, so before the offer expires (Feb 13), we are going back. And it looks like it will be just 3 weeks after our December trip. :cool1:

What is a beyond excellent offer? Do you get to go free or at a discount?

This is the first AP I've had and this will be my 4th trip during the year. Its so hard not to go to the parks when its already paid for!

well...except for gas, hotel, food, misc....... !!! haha

I'm already planning my Sept. 2013 trip, and we haven't even gone on our December 2012 trip yet! You aren't alone. :goodvibes

Lucky you! you live a lot closer than we do! Can you drive there within one day? We always stop at least one night on the way down. We fly sometimes but like having our car there and aren't crazy about the hassle of going to the airport and all that.

I'd live a lot closer if I could....maybe some day!

Some people make the drive in 14 hours. I can no longer make that long drive. I've health issues that prevent me from sitting that long. We have to fly unless we break the trip into 6 days. That's what we'll do next year so my daughter can look at Universities she may transfer to in '14.

A major discount. Of course that does not apply to gas, but it does apply to everything else.

I'll raise my hand too. I have another trip planned in Dec (my 4th this year) and I am considering going again before my AP expires in Feb.

Just a short trip 2-3 days, but I really want to stay at the Grand Californian, but it's sooo expensive. I can fly with airmiles so I can save a couple of hundred that way.......I got a really good deal for my Feb trip 35% off at PP, but from what I am hearing, discounts will not be as good this year because of Cars Land (if any). But I haven't given up yet....
