I've changed my mind.....again!

When my DF and I decided it was time to finally tie the knot, I immediately called my mom so we could start planning. That was only a few weeks ago and the plans have gone from a wedding in Colorado (where she lives) with a honeymoon at WDW, then to the Grand Californian out here at DLR and now to doing the whole event at WDW!! And the date has moved at least 6 times, let alone how many times we've switched hotel plans for our honeymoon. Since we've never been before, there are so many we want to try out, but can only choose two.


So...now that we've decided on WDW for everything, the ceremony has gone from Wilderness Lodge, to the Poly and now I'm considering Sea Breeze Point. Holy Mackrel! All this and we're only planning an intimate, I can't even imagine trying to do a custom!! I think I would need a straight-jacket!

I am having SO much fun planning this wedding that I actually think I'm going to be sad when it's all over because I'll have nothing to plan for. But I don't think that's something I really need to worry about now, look how many days are still left on my counter!!

Sorry this is so long...somebody, please tell me I am not alone in this...

I think a lot of us went through this. Don't worry. You don't NEED a year to plan a disney wedding as you do for some others. Especially if it is an intimate.
I was originally getting married in Niagara Falls and just within about 10 minutes, we changed our mind. It was crazy, but it has been great planning ever since.
Dont' feel overwhelmed. The planning process actually is rather slow.. I think so anyways.
The only thing you have to do right now is decide on a location and time and then you have to wait, and wait, and wait for what seems like forever to get your planning packet. Then, is when it gets fun. I got mine a few weeks ago and I am still thinking about everything. I didn't realize we were going to have so many choices! It is fabulous! We are trying to decide on the music right now.
So, my point is, you are not alone! I think everyone on this board has felt a little CRAZY at one point or another. Thank goodness for everyone on here though. All the information at the push of a key, is fantastic!!

Don't worry, you are not alone! We were originally getting married in Mexico, now its WDW. The date has always been the same, but now it's the details that we have to decide on. I have a little less that two years, so that should be more than enough time. Feel free to PM me anytime, it sounds like we are in similar situations, especially since we both have to break it to our extended families that we are having an intimate wedding with basically just our parents. Good luck with all the planning, I am sure it will work out great!
