They have their moments Claire - I do think the excitement about going to Grandma's has a lot to do with the fact that they get loads of sweets and treats there that they're not allowed at home - and they are allowed to stay up a lot later too Coupled with the fact that they miss her terribly - after living with her for 18 months, I suppose that is to be expected - it is hardly surprising that they're so excited about going there.

But, yes, on the whole, they're pretty fantastic. They know they'll get their holiday to WDW again next year, although Rea has now said that I have to take her on a DCL cruise next summer

I have been reading this thread with interest over the last couple of days, and now I'd like to comment.
To be honest I'm flabbergasted at the selfishness of the OP. The whole thread looked to me as though the OP was looking to justify yet another trip to WDW, and then in the end casually add in that none of her three children would be going on the trip!!
I'm sorry, I know I'm stepping on a few toes here, but I just had to say my piece.

That is way out of line! Joh is a fantastic mum and her daughters themselves have said that they do not want to go! I think she knows her children better than we do. This board is about booking trips to WDW which we all love so I'm sorry but it is not appropriate to call someone selfish for booking another trip.
