An idea that I got from the DIS Unlugged Podcast and thought it would be interesting for all the DLP people to think about. It's not really Trip Planning, but if I posted it in the Mousecelaneous thread, it would stop making sense after a while.

Basically you state how many times you've been to DLP and what you've never done, I'll go first...

I've been to Disneyland Paris 7 times (maybe 8) and I've never:
gone all the way around the railroad (I always get off at Discoveryland), walked through the arcades, eaten at a table service restaurant in either park, been on Dumbo, seen a show in the Fantasy Festival stage, found the dragon, been to the wishing well, been on Les Pirouettes du Vieux Moulin, seen a show in The Chaparral Theater, seen The Legends Of The Wild West, been on a River Rogue Keelboat, seen the Critter Coral, gone into the Adventure Isle, been on Autopia, been on Orbitron, seen Constellations, seen Fantilusion or seen Fireworks at DLP

It's quite obvious that I haven't done a lot of things...

I've been to DLRP 3 times, and theres loads of stuff I haven't done, because I haven't yet been able to persuade DD to do them with me (ie POTC, the Dragon etc).

But the 2 things I haven't yet been able to do, and wish I had, are the Casey Jnr ride and the Storyboats - they have been closed every time we've been so far :confused3 .

I have been to DLRP 7 times but have never done Space Mountain, nor am I likely too!

Also, never been in Phantom Manor or on POTC, or on Snow White....

I have never been to McDonalds in Village! Well, that was a bad one, but the only one I could come up with... I'll think of something better :)

What a great thread!! :yay:

I've been to DLRP 4 times and I've never........

ridden Les Pirouettes du Vieux Moulin because it's been closed

been on a River Rogue Keelboat because they weren't running

ridden Space Mountain, Indiana Jones or Rock'n'Roller Coaster because I don't "do" upside down rides :scared1: :rotfl:

These are some great responses, and don't worry, I didn't go on any of the upside down rides or phantom manor until about 2 trips ago, now I go on rides like Colossus at Thorpe Park. I blame my sister!

I didn't mension things like restaurants because there are soooo many I haven't eaten at, but hopefully if this next trip goes ahead, I'm going to have to persuade my family to eat at Walts.

 Wow, you're braver than me!!

I haven't eaten a Croque Monsieur either ~ keep meaning to rectify that but never seem to get around to it! :rotfl:

I've had the Croque Champignons (sp?) and it was very nice.

Never been on Indiana Jones either. In fact, it wasn't until last weekend (my 7th visit) that I realised that it was even there! I had seen it but wrongly assumed that it was Big Thunder Mountain!

We've been 3 times (just had to double check that as thought we'd been more- think its coz we've got another 3 trips planned and booked)

and Ive never done

R and R, Space Mountain, Indiana Jones and never intend to as I dont do upside down (DH and DD have done RR and DH- SM)

Crush- too fast and wild (DD and DH have though)

Star Wars - unsure if will like it

Keelboats- never been open til last time and didnt get chance

Seen Tarzan Show

Eaten a character meal apart from breakfast and tea party

Although only been 3 times seem to have done a lot. And its always a good reason to go back to do what you've not done.

BTW- Good thread

I've been 9 times and haven't:

Eaten at a park table service restaurant (never have time or money!)

Haven't been on: Storybook boats, the old mill wheel and the keel boats (as they're never open!)

On a trip last November we planned to go on every attraction, as it was low season there was no queues for anything. We managed to do everything that was open. We had the park maps and simply ticked each attraction we'd done until we'd done them all. I went with family and was presently surprised by some attractions that I wouldn't normally go on.

I've been 7 times and the only thing I've never done is Autopia (all other rides done, including "The old Mill" and the "Keelboats") and I'm not sure if I ever will do. Maybe when DD is old enough. It always seemed kind of boring to me.

We only spent half a day in Studios over there so I'm not going to include studios because I don't have a park map with me!

As for the main Magic Kingdom park:

I've been to Disneyland Resort Paris once(1)

I haven't done: (I'll break them down into the different areas)

Main Street USA

  • Horse-drawn Street Cars
  • Main street vehincles
  • Discovery Arcade
  • Liberty Arcade
Even got my haircut on Main Street USA!
Fantasyland

  • Looked around Sleeping Beauty's castle
  • Casey Jr. - Le petit train du cirque(closed)
  • Le pays des contes de fees (closed)
Done everything else, even met Belle!

Frontierland

  • Legends of the Wild West
  • Phantom Manor
  • Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing
  • Rustler Roundup shootin' gallery
  • Pocahontas Indian Village
Adventureland
  • La Cabane des Robinson
  • Le passage enchante d'Aladdin
  • Adventure Isle
Discoveryland
  • Orbitron
  • Videopolis
  • Arcade Alpha
  • L'Astroport Services Interstellaires
  • Les Mysteres du nautilus
  • Space Mountain:Mission 2
  • Autopia

I didn't go on a lot of things in Discoveryland, we weren't in that section alot. We were nearly always in Fantasyland!

Autopia is one of my favourite rides, last time we went we queued for about an hour to get on, it was that kewl the first time!

You can see me enjoying the ride here

Most of the things we've not done are the really scary rides, anything over and above BTM, and some of the shows (like Animagique).

I love this thread

I've been to DLRP 9 times and i have never:
been on phantom manor (too much of a chicken!)
been on autopia
done indiana jones backwards
eaten at a table service restaurant in the parks
been in skull rock (again, chicken!!)
been up in the hot air balloon

I don't know exactly how many times we've been to DLP, somewhere between 100 and 150 weekends. (I know, we're crazy :))
But still there's one ride I've never done: the Main Street Vehicles. And there's also one restaurant I've never tried: Planet Hollywood. Think we'll never do that, so we always have a reason to go back ;-)

I have been to DLRP three times but i have never eaten in a restaurant (lack of money lol) or seen a show because i have always thought rides are more interesting but i might be wrong so i had better go back and try lol

If I lived in Belgium, I'd ask to join you, but I don't...

What a great idea!

I've been 3 times to DLRP but I've never...

Gone on Star Tours, Space Mountain, Dumbo or Phantom Manor [cowers]
Never eaten in Planet Hollywood or any of the table service restaurants - something I'm planning to do this time

I've never had a Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast [ditto]

One ride I've always wanted to try is the Story Book Ride. I've seen plenty of pics but it's always closed when Ive been

I've never been on the Rock n Roller Coaster - too scary!

been on a River Rogue Keelboat because they weren't running

That's one I ticked off last week, as they were running.

I have been to DLRP 6 times and have never been (and will never go) on any coaster rides - but that's just me :faint:
I have queued with members of my family on every fast ride though, so perhaps I could claim that I have used more chicken exits than most others :rotfl:
We have never been on Autopia, but I think that's the only ride in the Park that my family haven't been on.

We have never been on the horse drawn vehicle.

In the Studios we have never been on Cars.

In the Village we have never been on Panoramagique, not eaten in Planet Hollywood or King Ludwigs.

Never been into Paris for the day.

Never played golf either. :lmao:
