The principal just asked me to come and see him.

There was a webinar about forms last Tues (4/20) during school vacation week.

The meeting to my knowledge was not mandatory, nor was I told to go by my boss, but apparently I'm in some kind of trouble now because I didn't go.

I guess I'll just tell him that I didn't know it was mandatory, nobody actually told me to go . . .it was stated in the letter "hope to see you there!"

Wish me luck . . .I'll probably get written up.

Maybe he'll let you off with just a detention! :p

OK, I am sitting here laughing about that term "webinar." That's a new one on me - at first I thought you had misspelled something, but now I realize what it is. Thank you for giving me a new term to add to my vocabulary! The folks in my office will love it!

Hope you don't get in too much trouble. Would a note from your mom help? :p

Thanks guys!

Well, I was told it would "look good" (twice) if I called and apologized that I didn't attend. Apparently our Superintendent was miffed at me for not going.

He also told me that it wasn't like me to be "insubordinate"

I explained to him that I had no idea that it was mandatory that I go.

So I just wrote an email to apologize.

Oh please! It's not "mandatory", but you get "in trouble" if you don't go. At least you know now.
