I've been converted! Need app recommendations ...

I like Postcards on the Run. If you keep photos on your iPad (either synched from your iPhone or otherwise) this little app is cool. It will generate a postcard with the photo of your choice, and for $1.49 print it and mail it. I've used it for thank you cards this season for my 18 month old son. All the relatives love getting a picture postcard of Noah with a note.

The app is free!

I am addicted to Zombie Cafe, smurfs and Monster petshop.

Oh yay! i'm glad someone else plays Zombie Cafe! It's a silly game, but i'm totally addicted. :goodvibes

i liked how cute the monsters in Monster Pet Shop were, but the game needs to be tweaked quite a bit.

Wow. How have I never known about appsgonefree? That is outstanding!

The Amazon app is indispensible if you have Prime (and dangerous). Family Feud is also outrageously addicting. I use wikipanion because I read wikipedia way too much.

Remote is great for controlling your computer's itunes.

OMG, thank you! I didn't know about this one! I am a huge fan of VLC, and this app looks wonderful. I'd much rather watch my iPad from the comfort of my couch than sit at the computer! Can't wait to try it!

Oh, wow! VLCStreamer is *great*! I can stream all sorts of videos (like avi's) from my PC to my iPad, and then from my iPad to my Apple TV! And watch the videos on my HD TV from the comfort of my couch! The quality is really good, too! I'm a happy camper. Great app!

THANKS Paula!!!

Here are some of my most used:

White Noise - obvious
Fooducate - scan grocery items and it gives them a letter grade and healthier options
Photobucket - great to post photos to eTicket
Key Ring - no more carrying those grocery/health club bar codes on your key ring
Red Laser - oldie but a goodie
Where's my Water
Toshl - great for keeping on budget

I am currently addicted to Unblock Me. There are HUNDREDS of levels. I just finished my 600th puzzle and that still in the beginner level.

I also use i.TV quite often. Comes in very handy. And it has PVR functionality too.

I'd love to get input from folks on what apps people have used for both planning and in the parks. Is there a "must have" app?

Also wanted to mention a handy web page that you can use to make dining reservations while at WDW. Just bookmark the Disney Dining website in Safari. You can actually make this an icon on your home screen. That way you can do a search for available dining anytime you want and make a reservation right away.

I've had my iPad for a while and here are some of my faves:

Star Walk - astronomy app that works even without WiFi or 3G.

Cozi - family organizer and so much more, can link the family organizer to multiple phones (iPhone or Droid) so that everyone can see what's on the to do list or the calendar! The website also has a menu planner.

Epicurious - fantastic recipe finder where you can search by ingredient or by type of food.

Kindle

My Fitness Pal - food and exercise diary/journal
