By the Disney cruise bug. We just got off the Wonder Monday and I am on the Disney website obsessively looking at itineraries. The hubby and I decided every other year, but now I'm stuck on a Thanksgiving cruise for 2017. I can't get it out out of my mind lol. Anyone sail that time of year? Was the ship decorated for Christmas? What are the temps in the Carribbean that time of year? Does the bug for more cruises ever go away??

To answer in reverse order:
No, the bug is a permanent condition.
If you cruise over Thanksgiving the ship will be decorated for Christmas.
We've done the first week of December (on the west coast).

Good luck, and welcome to the club.

So sorry about your affliction, many of us have it here too ;)

We've made reservations for Thanksgiving 2017 on the Fantasy. I'm hoping it will be decorated for Christmas too (this year I was too under the weather to appreciate the decorations).

I lived in the Caribbean for years and the farther south you go, the more likely it will be consistently warm. So Bahamian weather is a bit unpredictable; Cozumel/Grand Cayman etc is nice in the 80s, ditto for the Eastern Caribbean itinerary (typically).

Sadly, I've suffered from the DCL bug for years, so no, it doesn't normally resolved. I have tried to convince DH the more I cruise the less likely I'll want to do it again (he knows better...we have #12 this summer, #13 & 14 next year).

took dw several years to get me on a ship and the dream was the first one. #4 is the weekend before thanksgiving and #5 is aug 2017 for our 29 anniversary.we are Disney people and just love being on the ships with all the Disney trimings. trying to fix it where our 1st gold cruise will be our 30th anniversary.

So I just transferred my placeholder to the Thanksgiving cruise, got one of the elusive 8A staterooms to try out, first time sailing without a balcony. Hubby is still not convinced but I have until next August to talk him into it ;).

We have sailed at Christmas time on the Dream and it was gorgeous. We loved the gingerbread house in the Atrium that in my point of view put the GL gingerbread house to shame. :)
Definitely still warm, except at night out on deck, you might need a light cardigan. Especially if you like to watch the Pirates of the Carribbean on Funnel Vision at midnight.
No, the bug has not left us yet.
