I've Been Banned....

by my DH and both of my DDs from going on the Online Dining It was a family decision that was unanimous. We are leaving for our trip in 30 days and I have become overly obsessed with the online dining and changing our ADRs around (getting new places, trying for better times then the ones we have). Well, yesterday they all had enough with it and told me I am banned from there until we start planning our trip for January 2012 . Oh well, I guess I will just turn my obsession over to the DIS....oh wait, I have already done that

My husband said he is going to ban me from the online dining as well if I go on it one..more..time.

I would be banned too however I dont share with my husband I call my dad and he is my sounding board!Looks like we are going to be there same time as you!

If my husband knew a way to banned me - he would. At this point he just nods and says - "whatever you want is fine with me". He knows if he says anything else, it would turn into an hour long discussion.

At this point I've stopped telling my husband about dining reservations...i'll tell him once i **hopefully** get them all finalized for our trip in May. Right now I'm waiting for the 45 day mark to see if any openings come up for the ADRs we really want

My dh don't want to talk about disney dining anymore. He would say whatever you want is fine with me. This is our first trip & I want everything to be magical especially for the kids.

My Dh runs away everytime he sees me on the computer. poor guy, he now has 4 disney freak in the house. When we all sit at the table for dinner, I know that one of the girls will say " Let's talk about Disney now mommy!" He just rolls his eyes.

Yes, b/c he KNOWS deep down that you are RIGHT!!
But my dh doesn't see me either...I'm at home, and he's at work!

It MAY be an addiction also, but if that's the worst addiction we have, so be it.

I'm sure they totally appreciate the great ADR's that you score for your family!
It's a lot of work and stress getting the times and locations just right

I am so glad to see that I am not alone here . I think we should all start a club or a group known as the DDA (Disney Dining Anonymous). And like one PP had mentioned, if this is the worst addiction that we have, then so be it ...hopefully there will not be a cure for this anytime soon .

I agree!! No Intervention for me! I'm in denial...or maybe I just know that I'm right!!!

It's comforting to hear that there are bunch of people who are just as obssessive as I am on adrs. I think it's half the fun/stress before the vacation.

I don't have a problem....really but I do think the wdw site thinks i do, because when I went today to add a adr to the extra day i booked today (like i really needed to ADD A DAY lol) it told me i didn't have any reservations!!
But when i tried to add one on a day I already had; it came up you have a resevation for that day/time. They thought they could mess with my mind..but have no fear I shall return to change an ADR another day
