well to those of you who have seen the 2003 movie Peter Pan with jeremy Sumpter & Jason Isaacs the song probably sounded very familiar.

My sister & I were totally OBSESSED with that movie, we had the soundtrack and would ALWAYS listen to that song. But I was SO shocked (and excited) when I heard it in a Disney ad on TV! It IS the PERFECT Disney theme!

But why I was so surprised was that Peter Pan is a Universal movie...Why would Disney use a song from a Universal movie in their ads?

I'm just really curious and have always wondered this. It's probably a really simple answer that I'm not aware of, but if anyone can explain I would be very greatful

well i have no working speakers so i can't here the song but the song doesn't belong to universal. It belongs to the creator of the song so there fore the creator of the song could sell the rights to it to whoever they want...

I've wondered that too! It's a GREAT song, and gives me goosebumps, but it's the farthest thing from Disney. No idea!

I've heard Disney songs used in other places, like music from around the parks, etc. Atleast, I thought they were from Disney. The composers of the music can probably release their music to whoever they want. Not really sure though.

Yeah. I've also heard music like that in radio commercials that we're for Disney.
