Ivan's a Hurricane now

And more good news...5 day track on NHC website shows a turn towards...you guessed it...Florida. Hopefully, it keeps on turning out into the Atlantic and away from the US.

Does anybody look at what is forming way out in the Atlantic? I wonder if there are any more of these darn things forming after Ivan?

Actually, Ivan has barely made the news here yet since everything 24/7 has been focused on Frances since Wed. All I can say, I hope that Ivan stays far away. This has been enough!

Well, I taped my windows up for Frances and I have decided that I am going to keep it up until hurricane season is over. It looks terrible but hey, at least I won't have to run out and buy tape every time a hurricane comes our way.

The NOAA was saying this has been the worst season for them in many many years. I hope Ivan doesn't make it to FLA that is the last thing they need now.

We're also keeping up our ply wood until we fine out what Ivan is going to do..........WAHHHHHHHHHHHH I DON"T want another Hurricane. I just got home this morning from spending the past 3 days at the hospital I work at and don't think I could do it AGAIN!!! But for this hurricane season I'm sch. for during and if it comes then thats where I'll be. My DH gets called in for the after crew at the hospital.... life really stinks right now for us. But we are very lucky that our house is still standing.
I also came down with a lovely resp. inf. on fri so on top of everything I'm sick as a dog. I got one of the drs. to give me a script for med. and started to taking it yesterday.

Does your hurricane software predict when landfall may be or the path it may take? If so where did you get it I wouldn't mind getting a copy of it.
