Thursday September 16, 2004 DAY 6
Went to breakfast at Mara but I wasnt hungry so I just got a banana. I had to go off to my conference at the Peabody hotel at 11:00. We had a cocktail hour from 5-7. The room was all decorated with all magic stuff and Mickey sorcerer hats and pixie dust. There were magicians, a band and stilt walkers. I ended up taking one of the sorcerer hats and a light up magic ball home with me.
We had my company dinner at Beragamos that night on International Drive. We thought it was just an Italian restaurant with singing waiters (like singing Italian songs) but they sang all show tunes and everyone was joining in and swaying along. Kind of corny but most of our clients loved it! Food was good as was the service. I didnt get back to the hotel until around 10:30 and went to bed with my sorcerers hat! Everyone else just relaxed around the hotel all day arent they lucky!
Friday September 17, 2004 DAY 7
Back over to the conference at 9:00 and stayed until around 4:00. We headed off to downtown and had dinner at Planet Hollywood. Food and drink was good but it was just too loud. Then we went to La Nouba I had gotten the AP discounted tickets. Fantastic show even for the second time (first time for DH as he got sick the last time we had tickets and didnt make it to the show) I was really tired and my feet were killing me so we went back to the room after the show not many animals out tonight.
