iTunes - HELP!!!!

I have been having a problem with my iTunes for abit. I would welcome any suggestions.

When I connect either my iPhone or Ipod, it tells me I a have an update available. Okay so I give download permission, it acts like it is going through fine.
Then I get download disconnect - network has timed out?!?!?

I have uninstalled then re-installed my account to no avail. Please any suggestion would be appreciated.

I have the same thing happening, I just ignore it To be clear, the message is an update for my iPod, not iTunes. I do all of the iTunes updates with no problems. I've been getting that message for several months, maybe someone here knows what's up with that.

my updates go through just fine on my iPods & iPad. But I always go here if I have a question regarding Apple products, the forum is really helpful!

Yes it is th eupdates to my individual I products - my iTunes updates fine.

SO when I try to download apps they tell me to upgrade my iPhone - but I can't - and round we go!!
