iTunes as EA games for iPhone, Touch and iPad for .99 today (regularly $4.99)

How do you do this? I've got my son an Ipod touch for Christmas too. I purchase the apps on my Ipod touch and they automatically download.

I never buy anything via my ipod touch only via my PC which I have loaded itunes. My entire library is on there and automatically downloads to my pc. Then when I hook up my ipod to charge it the song and apps will sync to my ipod. This way I always have a back up of what I've bought either on the ipod or on the PC. :thumbsup2

My dd12 doesnt have an irod touch but does have an ipod nano. We are new to this itun stuff. She's been asking about the games. Are the games for ipod nano usually 4.99 too? If she downloads game does she just pay for the games? Are there games that will also charge for extras?

read an article about a toddler charging up $64 on her ipad or phone for smuf berries. Like i said i'm new to this and dont want extra charges thanks.

Oh I can beat that one LOL My autistic 7-yo spent $175 in about 30 minutes on a build your own restaurant game. Itunes refunded the $ and filled me in on parental controls. :thumbsup2

DD and I bought Cause of Death sort of a CSI type game. She and friend are playing it in the living room right now.

DS bought one of the Sims games and is in heaven. Trying to decide what to buy next!

Thank you!!!!

Thank you!!!

We just got
Life
Pictureka
Sudoku
Trivial Pursuit
Risk
Monoply
Lite Brite
Connect 4

There were a lot more to choose from! I searched EA games :)

You don't have to download them to your Ipod or phone now. They will still be there whenever you are ready to put them on your phone. We do that a lot. Sometimes my DH buys apps or songs and then I go back later and add them to mine:thumbsup2

When you buy the apps they are saved on YOUR itunes acct under apps. When you are ready to ad them you just plug in the it will prompt you to update your Ipod.

FYI, the sale is still going on as of 11:53 pm CST on 12/17.

Thanks OP - my DS bought 4 games for his IPAD last night for $4. He is thrilled.

Thanks for sharing this. I just bought several of them.

However, the main computer where I have my iTunes account is currently at a friend's house for repairs. I downloaded iTunes on my laptop so that I could buy these apps but I'm wondering how I will add these to my main library on my desktop when I get it back?

Thanks,
Helen

Hook your ipod to the laptop and sync it. The apps will download to the ipod. When this is done hook the ipod to your PC and sync it. The apps will upload to your PC. :goodvibes

Can anyone who has played any of these tell me which ones are worth purchasing? I have read through a lot of the reviews and it seems like many of them have bad reviews

I have bought and played:

Sims 3
Yahtzee Adventure
Pictureka
Tetris

All have been great fun! I really like Yahtzee Adventure :)

I am new to the iTouch (my Xmas present;)) tho kids have had them for awhile.
I downloaded some free apps, too--what are "Lite" apps--like a demo?

My kids had purchased Life & Momopoly @ regular price & enjoyed it.

We bought Battleship and have been playing it all morning!!!

Exactly. It is a limited version so you can see if you like the game enough to purchase it. You will love your Touch. I have had mine for 3 years now and it is soooo handy to have.

I purchased a few apps and they are on my computer under my Itunes. Now, how do I get them onto my IPOD without deleting all the other apps? I was hoping to just drop them into my ipod???

HELP!!!

They should just automatically download. It will sync the device.

and if by some chance they don't automatically sync plug...
- click on your ipod while it's plugged into your computer
- click on the tab that says apps
- on the left hand side of that tab should be a long list of all the apps you have purchased, make sure that the apps you just bought have a "check" next to them so that they sync with your ipod (if they are un-checked then they won't automatically sync with your ipod)

Hope this helps
:)
