My DD's got an ipod touch for Christmas. One of the songs my oldest DD wanted on her's "Moves like Jagger" has the cover pic from the album when she plays the song. She doesn't want that picture on there, is there a way we can delete the photo without deleting the song?

Right click on the song in your playlist.
Choose "get info"
Choose the artwork tab
Click the Delete button.
Click the Okay button.

After you do the above you can then substitute in a new picture. Sorry all my songs must have artwork associated with it! I'm trying to remember the steps, but it has been a while since I have had to do it.

Again choose Get Info
Choose the artwork tab
Then I think it will allow you to choose a picture from a photo album on your computer.

Ok, I did this and it deleted the picture on itunes but not on her ipod. I am trying to get it off of her ipod. Do I need to delete it out of her ipod then reinstall it without the pic?

You will need to sync her ipod with the computer that itunes is on in order to remove the album artwork.

When you click on the Add button, it will open your My Pictures folder on your computer and you can choose a picture from there.

Or you can copy and paste a picture into the space where the old artwork was located.

Thank you, Marionnete! I couldn't remember all the steps and I don't have iTunes on my work computer. :thumbsup2

Danetter, you need to plug the iPod into the computer using the USB cord. iTunes should then recognize the iPod and automatically start a sync.

Ok excuse me for being so ignorant about this but how do you sync it?:confused3
Have you set this ipod up on this computer before? If so, all you have to do is connect the ipod to the computer using the USB connector that came with it.

If it has been set up to automatically sync when connected, then that's all you need to do.
