It's winter and ugly here so when is your next disney trip?

We are going in March but DH is going in 3 weeks for a "business trip" by himself  What's up with that!!!!!

Umm, I see you have little ones. But, if it were me, not having kids....I would grace my DH with my company. :goodvibes

I don't have any planned. :sad2: We've given up taking the 2 teen girls because they are just PIA at Disney. I'm hoping I can talk DH into going to Food and Wine Fest for our anniversary.

We are going next Dec, but I have not picked the week yet so I am working on that now. I am already getting excited. :cool1: We just went this past Sept and it feels like it was forever ago. :rotfl2:

10 days!!! We arrive on January 6th for 10 days at the Boardwalk Villas-my uncle is running the marathon, I'm cheering him on and my cousin will be entering the Disney college program on the 13th and her parents are arriving on the 12th, plus we will be meeting up with some friends from Canada. It will certainly be one of our more eventful trips to WDW!

October 2-9

We're staying offsite (:rolleyes1:sad2::eek:) (for free :woohoo:) but I THINK we may stay at the Dolphin a night or two.

We are also staying off-site at a Marriott timeshare donated to me by my sister, but we are moving to the Polynesian for our last night for DH's birthday, and a reason to take DME back to the airport. We will rent a car from MCO but return it to the Car Care Center.
Travel Dates: 2/27/10 to 3/6/2010 Peak Season.

We're going Aug 11-25 and staying at POFQ.

Now if Sig and the boys are going to be in Epcot again this year in July, we may have to take a quick trip then too!

Yesterday I booked Nov 4 thru Nov 10 at the Boardwalk villas. I'm hoping at the 7 month window to switch to Animal Kingdom, standard view. We are not planning to tell the kids until the actual trip. We joke a lot to the kids who wants to go to disney tomorrow, this time we are going to do that. The kids should only have to miss two days of school this trip. We are inviting another family to stay with us, if they chose to go we will then get a two bedroom, we only meet up with them once a day (sometimes) to eat one meal, then we go separate ways again.
This is to be a laid back trip. Exploring the resort and hoping- blizzard beach (weather) and peewee golf, and just enjoying ourselves together. Maybe eating at Chef Mickey. We will take some snack items with us and I believe I will use Grocer.com to deliver milk, pepsi, water and yogurt and such. Anyone that has used them were you happy with them?
Last trip we moved resorts and with kids it does take time to repack and then you sometimes can't get into your new room until 4 PM, you can loose a large portion of a vacation day.
This time our splurges will be using the extra points to stay the weekend in the same room (deceasing lost time). Not doing a shopping trip (I can really steal time looking at disney offerings) so we will use grocer.com to deliver to us.
Now I can scheme disney and start the budgeting.

If my aunt and her fam. go with us it will be Aug 2010 (seems so far away!!!!)

If she doesn't then we will do our usual May trip.

At any rate, I want to book our vacation at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb.

We usually stay @ ASMo, but we are looking into 7 nites @ Wilderness Lodge. I have been saving up for this trip since last May so we have a nice penny saved. BUT we also need a new car (March/April this will probably happen). Been saving for both, but still I hate spending so much all at once, KWIM.

The cold and snow will be a distance memory by the time we go in October. Can't wait!

:cool1:

We are going Jan 24th for 2 nights/3 days and just convinced my mom to fly down and stay with us!! We will be staying for the first time at Wilderness Lodge in a studio villa (tried to upgrade when mom decided she could come but nothing left). Also for the first time we are going to see blue man group! Can't wait!!!!!!!! :cool1::cool1:

The minute we get snow here (which we have had on the ground around here for quite some time), I dream about going somewhere warm and WDW always tops my list. Unfortunately, there is no WDW trip in my near future. I am not complaining though. We do have family trips planned for March (Palm Springs) and August (Hawaii) and on the spur of the moment I just booked a short, 4 night cruise for Feb. We considered WDW in lieu of the cruise, but it was cost prohibitive. I miss WDW!!!! :sad1:

We have to wait till my DH gets back from a deployment, so our next one isn't until 2011..... I REALLY wish I could take the kiddos alone this year, but I was told if i went without my husband he would be madder than the Mad Hatter..... He's so cute!

We leave 6 weeks from today!!! Staying at AKV jambo house for 10 nights!! Can't wait I've already had enough of this cold weather!

If all goes according to plan it will be late September. We like to go for the free dining.. it works for us. As do the lower crowds. And it gives us enough time to save and pay it down over the months. Dh has tons of overtime available to him through the winter at double time and a half. So this is the time to save. Once the warm weather comes there isn't any overtime available and we won't be able to pull much out of the regular budget. So now that Christmas is over I am going into serious budget mode and planning a September trip.
We had to cancel last years so by the time we go it will have been 2 years.

Just a note of thanks!

We just moved to a state that has snow and I'll tell you I'm so THANKFUL!!

for those people who move the snow and clear the roads! So YEAH!!!

and and thanks for you and your DH!

We are going in September we just booked Pop to book something with the bounce back in our room. But dh is so sold on the Poly after visitning. I would settle for a moderate. I don't think I can pay that much for a room for 8 nights. Maybe make a compromise and stay at WL again. This is the first week I start putting 2.00 each week in my girls banks. I also start making weekly payments online.
