It's Tough to Be a Bug question

It's been years since I've done ITTBAB (my wife hates this attraction), but I just booked LLMP for AK and that was the attraction that had the earliest LL time available (8:10am).

I can't remember from previous trips - can you go through the line and then exit without sitting through the show? Meaning, can we enter the theater and slide out the exit before it starts?

I did that in 2019 with FP, can’t confirm if you still can. Sorry for lame response, figured I could at least keep your question at the top of the queue for anyone who has done this more recently and can confirm.

Many guests leave during the show so I have to think you'd be able to tap in and then just keep walking through the theatre and out the exit.

Thanks! I think that will be my plan, especially once I drop the bomb with my wife that it's our first attraction scheduled for that day. :p

My hope is to do a few things at AK before heading to HS for the rest of the day. :)

Yes, a family left as soon as we entered the theater a couple weeks ago. It should be no problem, you'll just go out the doors on the opposite side.

So what is this advantage to doing this? Going in a couple of weeks and any tips help.

You won't need an LLMP. If there is one, come back later. We have always just walked right in.

Yep, just keep on walking out through the theater exit doors. If you don't want to get stuck creeping over people who may have stopped and sat down in a row, go down to the very front of the theater and walk in front of the front row and out the exit doors.

In the past I collected my famlies bands and discreetly tapped them all.
Or give ITTBAB another shot before it's replaced

Honestly I would tap at the entrance then not go in. It is a long line to walk through.
It’s a longer line to walk back through that long queue. And go against the flow of guests walking to the attraction entrance.

Yeah no way I would do that but the only tap point is before you even go into the line so you could just tap and not enter the line at all. They don’t care and I am sure know what you are doing too

Good point! I don't remember if there is a second tap point, never used G+ or LL for it. No need!

Honestly you could probably turn around and exit as soon as you scan in. No one will stop you.
Last trip a whole family did this. Just walked back out. And you can exit at the point by the bridge and not have to go all the way to the front of queue or to the theater.

But I don't think there is any second scan so you probably only need to scan and walk a few feet and u-turn. I would go far enough to get the great photos of tree/animals a short way in to the line then turn around.

Thanks - that's probably what we'll try to do. I could see if I could talk my wife into doing it one last time before they close it, but I think I'll lose that battle. ;) It's truly one of her least favorite attractions in all the parks.

Yeah I enjoy it, mostly for Hopper (OBVIOUSLY) and all the people screaming. DD, who even worked at Disney, REFUSES to go in there. She doesn't like 3D but won't even go in and just close her eyes. Maybe let her stroll the line and take great pics while you go watch the show. I'd gladly sneak off for a Dole Whip with Rum while someone went on an attraction. :goodvibes
