I've got to go work where I spend some of the evening taking meals out of the ovens for patients on the wards then have to clean them out of a weeks worth of spilled, baked on meals in a kitchen with a six inch opening in the window and no fan. Then clean on wards wearing plastic aprons and gloves.I love sunny days in the week but not at the weekend!!! Complete opposite to most people.

We went to some friends for their sons 3rd birthday party. It was such a lovely afternoon, they hired a Fire engine from this guy who owns one and loans it out for parties, hen nights etc. Jonathan loves fireman sam and Bob the builder but when he went for a ride in the truck around warrington he cried all the way Hes 3 next week, he got off and said i don't like fireman sam anymore

It has been very warm though, i love the weather in the day but its at night i can't stand it.

Eldest son has gone away on a residential trip until Friday with strict instructions to wear his hat, slap on the cream and drink plenty. If he listened to my instructions as well as he normally does none of these things is going to happen, hope the teachers and instructors keep reminding them. Always something to worry about with children

When Gavin picked me up from work in Leeds the car said 35 degrees!!!

It was 17.30 in the afternoon!

Another boiling hot day here too in Cardiff, and to make matters worse I have been suffering the hangover from hell after going to a ball on Saturday Im still not feeling right

After spending the ENTIRE weekend sweating to death in a VERY HOT sports hall, spent much of today by/in the outdoor pool at my gym. Think that I was in heaven today...

Forecasters at the Met Office are predicting the highest July temperatures ever recorded this week, with a 30% probability on Wednesday of breaking the all-time UK temperature record.

The highest temperature ever recorded in the UK was 38.5 °C at Faversham in Kent on 10 August 2003. This week, temperatures of 37 °C are expected, however it is possible that the all-time record could be broken as one or two locations in the Home Counties of south-east England reach highs of 39 °C (102 °F).

well I went to my neices sports day yesterday afternoon for two hours, wearing factor 25, and I have burnt my arms, half one leg (we were sat to the side) and my face, I have a white mark where my oakleys were! Looks like total cover up at my other neices sports day today
