It's the time of the year when I...

I have...
PS1, PS2, PS3, and a really freakin old SEGA from like, 1993.
We might be getting an XBOX 360 soon if my brother can pull off an A in science.
We also have multiple versions of gameboys.

My favorite game is Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom, probably because it's the only game I've ever beaten.
My brother refuses to let me touch the PS3 because it's "his".
But what he doesn't know is that I play it when he's not around :D

Luigi's Mansion scared the crap out of me.
I'm beast at Super Smash tho xD

I love Luigis Mansion!!
I've played it 45438948X 100!

I have a Gamecube.
I dont really like it because they dont have any good games!!
The only games I have are: Luigi's Mansion, The Sims-Busting Out, Shrek 2, Mario Sunshine.

My dad bought me a Playstation 2 once for chrismtas last year and he bought Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy for it and when my mom came back from this trip she made him return it all! :sad1:

EDIT: I had a PSP.
But someone stole it at school last year.
I had Harry Potter on it.

I have a Wii, a 360, and a GameCube. I'm getting a PS3 for Christmas. The Wii is online and the PS3 will be online, but the 360 isn't and won't be. If you have a PS3 and Warhawk, I'll play you after Christmas :)

I have a Gamecube, btw.

I cant beat that game.
So it frustrates me! :headache:

What games do you have though?
I have..
Madden 2003, Lord Of The Rings The Two Towers, Kirby Air Ride, Pokemon Colosseum, The Haunted Mansion, The Sims, Animal Crossing, Mario Sunshine, Magical Mirror starring Mickey Mouse, Crazy Taxi, Cars, Luigi's Mansion, Sonic Heroes, Sims 2 Pets, Sonic: The Mega Collection, The Polar Express, Sonic Gems Collections, and Mario Kart Double Dash. Oh and I have some baseball game, too. XD
=P I have a lot. XD
EDIT: I can't beat Mario Sunshine, either. I just gave up. XD

I totally forgot about Super Smash Bros. Melee and Animal Crossing.
LOVE those!! SSB never gets boring. And AC is always so much fun to play. On New Years, I look forward to watching the fireworks. :p
I have a lot of games. :faint: Esp. for the PS2 and PS3 combined.

ETA: For the PC, I *LOVE* all Tycoon games. Mall tycoon, RC Tycoon, SeaWorld Tycoon, etc.
And Sims...Can't forget about Sims.

I use to have a Gamecube but I gave it to my sister.
My brother has a Wii,Nintendo 64,and Playstation 2.

My favorite games are Super Mario and Gauntlet.
I really want to save up money for my own PS2 and get Kingdom Hearts.

Save up for a PS3 instead - the 80GB one that is backwards compatible. In another year, nobody will be playing PS2.

Same, I find the PS3 over rated/overpriced
So I went with the xbox 360, and wow.
Its amazing

LOL are you kidding? It's underrated - everyone is all like "The PS3 sucks and has no games". It's not overpriced, either - you can get one for the same price that the 360 started at. In fact, it's cheaper than the 360 Elite is right now. And don't forget, it play Blu-Ray films, and Blu-Ray is winning the HD format war. You can get a PS3 for much cheaper than it would cost you to get any version of the 360 and the HD-DVD (the losing format!) add-on. The PS3 is the way to go for Disney fans, too, since you can play Disney PS2 games like Kingdom Hearts on it, and because Disney backs Blu-Ray and not HD-DVD. Not to mention that the PS3 has free online and will have online jewels like Home and LittleBigPlanet. Not to mention Warhawk. The 360's online is expensive, and you have to buy a $100 add-on if you have a wireless network at home. And there's nothing like Home or LBP on the 360 and there never will be.

I have a 360, and it quite frankly sucks unless you can play M-Rated games, which I'm not allowed to play because I'm not 17 and because my parents are strict about the ratings systems of everything. I've only ever seen one R-Rated film, and I saw it at school. It was called Outbreak and it was only R because they dropped an F bomb every second line, which is no worse than regular school.

So I'm glad you like your 360, but I'll be playing my Wii until Christmas when I get my PS3. The I'll be happy as a lark pwning n00bs in Warhawk. That is, when I'm not a n00b myself anymore ;)

Play video games all the time until Winter break begins and ends.
Now most of you know (maybe you don't but oh well)...
That I, Kayla, am a super-de-duper huge obsessed video game fan. :teeth:

And I am in need of a video game conversation.
So, what consoles do you have?
Favorite console?

Favorite Video game?
Any new one coming out that you have your eye on?
Talk Video Games.

I'll post later.

Video games are my favorite subject for random talking.

I have a GameCube, a Nintendo DS and a PC.
I like all of them that I have. My favorite that I don't have is the 360.
The Legend of Zelda ANYTHING is incredible; I love it. The Elder Scrolls series, Age of Mythology, SSBM, and other games that I can't think of now... I have a ton that I like. Kingdom Hearts (from what I've played of it) is pretty amazing, too.
New games coming out... Spore. It's the next game from the ever amazing game company Maxis.

I am a huge gamer. I love most video games; the only games that I don't care for are sports games. The Xbox 360 is my favorite of the current wave of consoles. I hope to get one sometime. :upsidedow

Spore is on the Wii O_o
I love Zelda too I can't wait to get OoT off the virtual console.

Hoo boy...

LOL are you kidding? You are right; the PS3 is bashed alot. It's underrated - everyone is all like "The PS3 sucks and has no games". Aaand... they'd be partially right. ;) It's not overpriced, either - you can get one for the same price that the 360 started at. However, the 360 is worth that money spent. The PS3... eh. In fact, it's cheaper than the 360 Elite is right now. I hate to pull the 'It has no gamez!" argument... but it's so true. And don't forget, it play Blu-Ray films, and Blu-Ray is winning the HD format war. Yeah... but that's all it's good for. And I don't need Blu-Ray; I'm perfectly happy with regular DVD.You can get a PS3 for much cheaper than it would cost you to get any version of the 360 and the HD-DVD (the losing format!) add-on. You're right. However, who needs HDDVD?! The PS3 is the way to go for Disney fans, too, since you can play Disney PS2 games like Kingdom Hearts on it, and because Disney backs Blu-Ray and not HD-DVD. Yeah... so buy a PS2. ;) Not to mention that the PS3 has free online and will have online jewels like Home and LittleBigPlanet. HOWEVER, the PS3's online is horrific compared to Xbox Live. Not to mention Warhawk. What about Halo 3? Best multiplayer shooter of all time, it looks like. The 360's online is expensive, and you have to buy a $100 add-on if you have a wireless network at home. Yeah, but that's pretty much a non-issue. And there's nothing like Home or LBP on the 360 and there never will be. And there's nothing quite in the calibur of the fantastic gem that is Viva Pinata on the PS3, and thanks to the fact that Rareware is Microsoft owned, there never will be.

I have a 360, and it quite frankly sucks unless you can play M-Rated games WRONG, which I'm not allowed to play because I'm not 17 and because my parents are strict about the ratings systems of everything. Go buy Viva Pinata, Rock Band, Guitar Hero II, Chromehounds... the list goes ON.

The argument that the 360 and all of it's add-ons are more expensive than the PS3 is total bull. YOU DON'T NEED THE ADD-ONS TO HAVE A GREAT TIME!

But it's all about the games, right? Let's see what exclusive games the PS3 has that are worthwhile.

Resistance: Fall of Man
Warhawk
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
LBP (Unreleased)
Ratchet and Clank: TOD
And finally... wait. Can you help me out here?

I'd list the exclusive 360 games that are worthwhile, but it's getting late and this post is getting kind of long.

The thing is, I watch alot of Disney movies, so Blu-Ray is great for me, especially since I have a nice HDTV. You don't need the add-ons to have a great time on the 360, but you do need M-Rated games. Viva Pinata sucks and the music games get boring unless you have alot of parties. Sports games are terrible unless you're into sports, and even then they get boring unless you have online.

You forgot Heavenly Sword... it's good but repetitive.

The PS3 works for me, but since all you guys can play Halo, the 360 is better for you. I'm just tired of people pulling the no games label on the PS3 and bashing it. Truth be told, its hardware is far advanced to that of the 360, but nobody cares because developers don't want to spend the money to make amazing games. Anyway....

Oh yeah, and PS3 will have Haze, which is M-Rated but awesome. Too bad I won't be able to get it.

Just because you don't need the 360's addons to have a great time, doesn't mean you can't have a better time for less money with the same add-ons on a PS3. And when Home comes out, it may well beat Xbox Live to a pulp. Home is not just a game.

Sorry, I did forget Heavenly Sword. It does look alright.

Halo isn't the only game that makes the 360 amazing. There are tons others out there. Besides, the 360 is better for me, because:
The online is worth a crap
Rareware
You can at least play some Xbox games on the 360 (whereas they're dropping BC altogether for the more reasonably priced 40GB PS3)
More simulation games than the PS3 (I love simulations)
Great controller (The 360 controller makes me feel like a gamer, whereas the Sixaxis makes me feel like I'm holding a cheap piece of plastic in my hands)
More party games (Wait... this is a stupid point; if you want party games, the Wii is the way to go)
The 360 has something for everyone, while the PS3 doesn't (yet)

People may say about the last point, "Buh buh time advantage!" However, the Wii has nearly QUADRUPLED PS3 sales and it launched three days after the PS3, and it already has some groundbreaking titles. The 360 had groundbreakers by this point last year. There is no reason why the PS3 shouldn't be at the same spot, but nooo... Sony grew an ego.

IMO the PS3 is a very meh system that would be 100 times better if Sony swallowed their pride and made more games. They've been hyping it all the time: TEH PSTRIPLE IS THE BEST GAME SYSTEM EVAR!!! Teh 360 breakz alot and teh Wii is teh gimmick/fad! They should say, "Okay, yes. We screwed up. But we're not going to do this anymore. We're going to try our hardest to make the PS3 the best system for you guys: the gamers!!" That may never happen, though; Sony's execs are a bunch of arrogant fools.

But you need a $500 PS3 to play PS2 games, way to much for one console IMO

XBL is better then PS3 online, period, and Home isnt even out yet, so for all we know its going to suck, and the hype is just that.

Why go wireless? Wireless isnt very reliable, I can spend $35 and get a 100ft Ethernet cable, and run that to my 360, also the 360 come with a 10ft long Ethernet cable.

The 360 doesnt suck if you cant play M-Rated Games, Forza 2 is a freaking blast. I bought Halo 3 today, and havent even opened it yet. So its not only good for M-Rates games
