OK guys, I'm totally hijacking your TR for a moment!
So I actually got an email this morning with a PIN code for 40% off! It wasn't valid for the dates of our trip: 10/16 - 10/25. It
was valid for 10/25 - 10/31 so I was like screw it, I'll change the dates. I called CRO, all excited about my discount (that only took me SEVEN trips to get) and the incredibly rude lady on the phone says "OK but your name is Alison..." I was like "yeah, it has been for 26 years now..." She goes "well this PIN code is for Stephanie." I was like "umm...that's my sister, and the email came to me." Sooo we went through this whole big thing and come to find out, they took
MY account (which has 6 WDW trips booked under it) and linked it to my
STEP-FATHER's account, which has ONE trip booked under it and that is how they got
MY SISTER's name. They then used
MY email address to send a discount code to my sister (keep in mind it comes addressed to the family so it's not like it said "Dear Stephanie" in the email). So I came home from work, called back and explained the whole issue again to another woman who was extremely nice. She put me on hold for a few minutes then comes back to tell me that her Manager approved her to apply the 40% to me. Of course, since we check in on 10/23 and the discount doesn't apply until the 25th, I needed to book
two reservations. But, wait there's more! After all of this....the discount saved me a whopping 200 bucks.
