I know it's pretty far out, but we are looking at going to the world over Thanksgiving 2010. I have NO IDEA where to even think about eating on Thanksgiving. So give me your suggestions! Where did you eat, and would you do it again!?

We'll be there too!!!
We go every other Thansgiving. We always eat at Chef Mickey's. I like that my family can have the traditional Thanksgiving dinner they enjoy and I can have roast beef that I enjoy. It is not your most deluxe dining experience, but we love it and it is tradition for us. I can't wait till it gets here... I miss it so much (we have only been home 17 days!:lmao: )

In 2007 we did the Hoop Dee Doo Review for Thanksgiving Dinner. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! We had 13 of us for diner. Entertainment was great and the meal was very good. And it was just like being at home with all the noise and insanity ;)

I've never heard a single complaint about Sanaa, the restaurant at the Animal Kingdom Villas. Sounds like you can't go wrong!

That hasn't opened up yet, as it is in the kidani section that opens in May.

Do you mean Jiko(very good TS) or Boma(buffet) in the original section?

To the OP, we've 3 Thanksgivings under our belt, with 4th booked this morning.

We've done Hoop de Doo review, House of Blues(and followed by Cirque show) and Raglan Road.

I cook Turkey frequently during the year, so we go for something different on Thanksgiving day

If you don't want to fight crowds and near POR. Try Boatwrights, a very underestimated restaurant. We ate TG dinner there and it was fab- u- lous.
Me and my son can put down some food and we even left stuffed! It a very traditional TG dinner with the favorite trimmings.

We ate at Le Cellier last year for Thanksgiving Dinner, and this year we ate at Ohana. Le Cellier had their standard menu plus a turkey meal. We all had steak, except for DS12-he had the turkey. I tried some of his and it was very good. The Thanksiving dinner was turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, and cranberry sauce with pumpkin creme brulee for dessert (yummy!).

Ohana this year was great-we had the best server and the food was great. They did not have a choice of regular menu items-it was only a turkey dinner, but it was served family style so it was all you can eat. We had turkey (white & dark meat), mashed potatoes, green beans, dressing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin bread pudding with vanilla sauce. My friend's husband did not like pumpkin, so our server brought white chocolate cheesecake for him.

no, I really *did* mean Saana. It was a joke that obviously didn't work. (i.e., there's a *reason* why I've never heard anything bad about the place!)
