I'm north of detroit and it has not started yet... but you can tell it's comings. the weatherman are forcasting up to 15 inches of snow. it looks like Chicago up to 20 inches!

What I find funny though, is most schools are stating to cancel classes.

Yes, you saw the gutter lights still hanging. It seems my son loaned out my step ladder about six weeks ago and it has yet to find its way home!
The computer models for Chicago are predicting over 30 inches for downtown. Out here in the NW Burbs the computers are saying 22-24. The weather pundits are saying a little less. They have already canceled shools for tomorrow. Good luck and stay warm, its headed your way.

That's the good thing about being retired, EVERYDAY IS SATURDAY! But I do remember the last time we had a storm this big. That was 1979 and I was still on the street (cop). I didn't make it home for three days!

I haven't lived in the Chicago area in over 25 years ........ and I'm not missing it today! We're only getting a foot. You're making us feel like a bunch of lightweights! I let the cat back in a little bit ago (the one that acts like a dog and won't use the box) and she had some choice words for me! Next time I have to put her out I'll remind her it could be worse...... she could be in Chicago!

That storm is heading East and we're getting it in Boston now. Problem is we got hit yesterday with a different storm that dumped 8". Now this one is going to dump another 8" or so on us today.

Just what I need, more unassembled snowmen.

I'm about 15 miles north of Gianna's Pappa and for someone who lived his whole life in Seattle and is only spending his 3rd winter in Illinois, I can tell you this is crazy.

But you won't be getting any photos from me, I'm not going out there!
